Figma Guyver 1 Ultimate Edition Figure Review

The new one's head sculpt is spot on to the Manga. The old one's head sculpt looks nothing like Guyver 1 and many had a visor with no separating the eyes. It was talked about all over the internet for months when it first was released. The new Guyver figma ultimate edition was closely worked on with the creator of Guyver manga and with Max Factory side by side. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

I love Figma stuff. I need to get more from them. I actually had to Google this because I didn't know what it was lol. Pretty cool design. I like the new version better.

Yea their stuff are nicely built and feel like quality products too. You can actually watch most if not all the guyver episodes on youtube

A grail? Nah man you need to know what a grail is. I have the original Bio fighter collection and the Figma those are grails this one is a shiny new sculpt but hardly a grail. Try finding the Zoalords from Bio fighter cost you upwards of 800-1200 those are grails

@@mystryj4771 years ago, I mean years ago, I got the original max factory vinyl model kit. Never got a figma guyver because this thing has been close to a 100$ since it's released. I know what u mean about the zonoids. But not ever going after them. Just ridiculous. But this new one,as far a current, I think of as a backlog grail . Something I think I might need.🟢

@@Marv47-f6k don't have it with me at the moment but from what I can see in the video I think that's a replacement wrist peg. I welcome those things cos you never know, with joints so small I am glad they provide us with extra joint for any issues.

@@Marv47-f6k I know revoltech have sold joints in different size before but I have not seen figma selling joints by themselves. And that would come in handy for customizers too.

Man- i really liked the old one 😅 But seeing it side by side with the Ultimate Edition it feels like a bootleg by comparison 🥹.

@@toys210Not saying it is of course- i have the original release, its a great figure :) But comparing the sculpt, proportions, articulation, colors and general paint applications i think the new one does just about everything better.

@Sye909 I think is mainly the glossy finish vs the matte finish and the only other thing I can see would be the eyes section, I think if they outlined that it would have made it better

@toys210…I have all three versions…original max factory..previous Figma and this 600th anniversary ..This is my favorite . I agree with you …the head should’ve been able to raise a bit more and wish with all the articulation improvements , I wish this version could do the splits deeper like the previous Figma version and really wished they would make an extra accessory in the extended blades in a clear, shiny translucent or clear material so it copies the anime when he used the extended vibro blades they glowed . I too want a Guyver 2 and Guyver 3 version with this new design and I also want a new female Guyver 2.0 done in this fashion

@@shojic4894 yea definitely should have added more accessories since this is the ultimate edition too and 600th fig. Of yea the females in this size would be nice too. Can't wait to see what they will put out, let's hope this guyver 1 isn't the only one.
