I loved seeing the pieces compared to the pictures, you have such an eye for color and the way you bring it to life, it’s crazy. I think you did capture a lot of emotion in these pieces and I really love the one where your friend was walking into the fog. I’d love a print of that one! And I can’t wait to see you recreate it (if you are going to) some day!

Backpacking is so much fun! My partner and I hiked a section of the AT for a month but we didn't get that far North to see the horses...so cool!! An easy place to backpack around you is Starkey Park and a bit further (but totally worth it) is Ocala National Forest's Florida Trail.

I think the stories made these paintings double amazing! :D Just gorgeous art overall, fun to see you explore and experiment with gouache some more! Also, I have hiked al ot but most of it is in flatter ground or hillous terrain. I can't imagine what hiking in a mountings environment is! Glad you were able to stick together and make such amazing memories!
