Apart from your excellent detailing i'd like to say it's nice to see a car with real age related dirt and bugs on it, watched a lot of videos in the past year or so where the detailer has added their own dirt just for the sake of making a video. The car was outstanding at the end under that sunlight, many thanks and appreciate your hard working and relaxing videos.

I love this edit style for the more one day projects, I vote more please. It flowed, the detail in your edits, and had a really nice pace to it. Love showing the dilution ratios too on the bottles. Thats all that needs to be said. You let your work do the talking, and it was yeling so many good things to me. I love the "detailers detail" where the devil is in exactly that but sometimes you just need some 1950s cafe music and stare at one rotation of a prestine looking car, in a colour I'd die to have mine (non Audi) in. Fab.

What a great movie delivered by "Sandro Pictures"! These new audio and video effects)))) they are great, man! I am happy you have wider and bigger space where you are washing (or it's Audi S1 is so small )))) No, I know it's size)))) ) and I wrote you before - I love your floor! Another great thing is you had somebody helped you with filming and that person moved just so close to you everybody can thing that was you. Anyway that parson did a fantastic job by completely coping your moves by camera. Gorgeous cold start sound and great looking car. Very light, short and economical. Giving to the driver over 300 hp and 420 Nm with a stage 1 software tune. Shall I say something about the job done? I believe not))) You are my teacher (and yes, you don't know this, but you are) in detailing, paint correction and cleaning and I know what you have done and how and we all see the result - it's great even on such a dirty car. Want to point again Sandro - movies quality you are doing is great and I see how you are growing with the time. You are doing them as perfect as you are doing cars! Hope to see you here in Sweden. Cheers from all our family.

Love your expertise as always Sandro! Looking for advice on ceramic coatings, I have never used one before however during the winter I simply want the best protection on my car so that I don’t have to top up the protection as often. I’m looking at C.Quartz SiC or Lite. I want a really glossy finish, and super hydrophobic, has anyone got experience with both? As a beginner Lite may be the best option.
@CarCraftAutoDetailing
@CarCraftAutoDetailing 2 жыл бұрын
As a beginner I agree that Lite will be far easier, more forgiving and less problematic to apply where as SiC has a greater learning curve and relies a little more on nailing the technique and application to get the most out of it. SiC is without a doubt glossy and more hydrophobic but I’d tend to say as a first time user Lite or U.K. are a better place to start.

Fantastic work! That Audi looked great when you were finished with it. This video and the BMW M2 were excellent. Hey Sandro, hope you're enjoying the summer and the process of settling in the your new shop. Stellar video, mate! Wow, that new wash bay is a real treat, loads of upgrades over the last one. Can't help but wonder what the fate of CDC is now. Anyways, I'm really stoked for what's to come down the track... shop tour? review of that Scholl Rim Cleaner (that spray nozzle looks like it needs a rethink)? a 3-part vlog series with commentary (my fav)? LOL, no pressure, we'll all be along for the ride no matter where you take us. Also, any thoughts on adding one of those join membership buttons to your channel? I'd love to contribute. Till then, think i'll grab me some CCAD merch and a 5-pack of coffees. Cheers!

Thanks mate, really appreciate the all support and great feedback. CDC was taken over buy a new detailer which is great to see it will still be used after all the hard work that went into it that setup. Rim 7 is a great product - what you saw in the video was the safety cap pop off as you give it its first pump, it’s just a fun way to remove it 🙂 I hope to have a subscription based option in the future when I’m able to offer some extras to supports, but thanks once again fir the kind support!

Hello, nice video. Is there a risk the clay cloth might induce swirls without following with a polish? I've always been afraid to clay my car for this reason.
@CarCraftAutoDetailing
@CarCraftAutoDetailing 2 жыл бұрын
Yes, claying can cause micro marring/swirls so it’s idea to polish afterwards, but it’s also important to remove fallout and other bonded contamination even if you’re not polishing as it will lead to degrading the paint if it gets out of hand.

Awesome work, Sandro - both in the production value, and of course the detail! Quick question - how did you find the Shine Supply Solution as an APC/traffic film remover? Did it work well? Any better than other products you've used for this? Thanks!

Thanks mate and I thought it worked really well during this job, but I just haven’t used it enough to draw a conclusion or really had the change to compare it to other products. My initial impressions though were really good.

@@CarCraftAutoDetailing Thanks, Sandro! I'm not a pro detailer, just an enthusiast. It's a passion of mine. My biggest problem is, I just keep buying more products in a continual search for "the best" in every category. That gets expensive (so my wife reminds me! 😊), and I find myself chasing my tail quite a lot. I always think the next one will be the best...

Hi Sandro, I have only recently subscribed and really am enjoying the videos. Three quick questions: what did you use with the clay mitt? Would you recommend this on a 5 year old Ford Escape which has been garaged but well travelled. Lastly, with the polish did you apply to the whole car and then buff off or section by section? All the best, Jim
@CarCraftAutoDetailing
@CarCraftAutoDetailing 2 жыл бұрын
It was Nv Purify used with the clay mitt and yes I’d recommend it as it’s also a iron and traffic film remover as well as a clay lubricant so it’s very quick and effective at decontaminating a vehicle. I didn’t use a polish, it was Scholl Concepts W6 which I’d a paint sealant, and I applied it to a couple of sections at a time before wiping it down. Hope you continue to enjoy the content.

Got a foam cannon issue/question. I’ve got a gas-powered 3,300psi pressure washer (2.5gpm) that I’ve used for both initial cleaning and foaming. I just can’t tell if the foaming issues I’ve started to experience (more water than froth) are cannon-related or pressure-related. I’ve also never replaced any of the cannon internals. I use 3D Pink soap (ph-neutral, high-lubrication), and I’ve manually lowered the pressure on the machine to no real benefit. Source water is mineral-high, and I’ve even vinegar-soaked the top of the cannon for an hour to see if any deposits could be broken-down. Still, no success. I’ve tried other soaps that show no dramatic difference; all of them aren’t being maximized. Thoughts? Thanks for the feedback in advance.

If you could try another foam lance on your washer that could help workout if it’s pressure washer or foam canon related. But in general more psi tends to create more foam so it could also potentially be that your washer is loosing pressure which can happen over time. It’s a hard one to diagnose without some trial an error testing but if you could also test your foam lance on another pressure washer that would help to isolate what’s actually causing the issue.

Sandro, I have a couple questions. My friend got a new Tesla and asked for my help correcting and applying ceramic coating. If the paint is relatively swirl-free, is it worth it to use just CarPro Essence and then UK 3.0? And would CarPro Essence remove marring from claying? What is the clay rag you used?
@CarCraftAutoDetailing
@CarCraftAutoDetailing 2 жыл бұрын
Yes that’s sounds like a good plain, clay marring tends to be very easy to remove so Essence should work just fine and help clean and prep the paint for coating. Here a link to that clay cloth: www.waxit.com.au/collections/waxit-car-care/products/economax-clay-cloth

Hello Sandro, may I ask a question. Have you ever had ZERO readings when measuring the paint thickness on the front and rear bumpers of a car?
@CarCraftAutoDetailing
@CarCraftAutoDetailing 2 жыл бұрын
Most modern cars have plastic bumpers so a standard PTG won’t be able to read them, you’d need a specialty one that only reads plastic and fibre substrates.
