Hey, thanks for checking out my review of Final Fantasy 16. I think this game is very rad and I can't wait to continue my journey with it.
by the way, I'm still fighting my way through Tears of the Kingdom at a snails pace so no review yet, but it's coming it's definitely coming

15 did have a identity crisis because the director kept taking in feedback and implementing it while 16 they was more grounded and focused on what they actually wanted instead of the fans and fake fans

Side quest expand thhe lore and get you new weapons plus every game has side quests 😂💯 especially the witcher 3 but I do understand some side quests doesn’t seem that important but there are some that are gems

Lack of customisation takes so much out of a gaming experience. But story and presentation are so good - as saturated as good open world games have been. It’s been a good change of pace personally.

Okay so my two favorite games are on sale, Persona 5 and CrossCode. CrossCode is only 6$ right now so I’d say that’s my #1 pick for you to play. Octopath 2 is also on sale and that’s my game of the year so check that out if you want. If you wanna play another 3D game that has similar vibes to Dark Souls or Bloodborne, play Dishonored 2. It’s a stealth game but the vibes are crazy. Let me know what you end up playing!

Dishonored soo fun! I really like skyrim btw i already tried witcher 3, i don't have switch so i cannot tried zelda, valheim is like minecraft and idk i'm not into it. That video title is, in a nutshell, the essence of why I have no interest in FF16. EDIT: Oh. My first Final Fantasy was Final Fantasy IV and Final Fantasy Mystic Quest on SNES + Final Fantasy on NES. I played them all the same year Final Fantasy IV came out. Was in love with the series up until until Final Fantasy X. After which it all fell apart as far as I'm concerned.

@@SaberRexZealot Don't get me wrong. I like some of the games after 10. But rather than being more of what I came to love about the series, I like them despite not being true entries. 10 is the last mainline game I consider to be a true Final Fantasy. I liked X-2 as well, but I consider it to be part of X and take them both as a whole. I liked 12 just fine, but it's really part of the Ivalice spin-off series. There's a reason most of the games are not numbered FFs and one doesn't even carry the FF name at all. 14 is a spin-off, and I'm not into MMOs especially if I can't really solo. And whatever good there is in 16, for me it is overshadowed by how far away it is from anything I can recognize as being Final Fantasy at all. To me Final Fantasy is a series that lost it's way long ago in the pursuit of "the best graphics" and milking the series name over actually building on what made the games popular in the first place. Chrono Trigger is more of a Final Fantasy game than 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, or 16 could ever hope to claim with their misplaced titles. I'm in the minority, I'm sure, but that's just how I feel about it.

I think that’s the annoying part of this entire game minus the racist comments from the director of the game. It’s just like you expect us to pay 70 bucks for Devil May Cry/ Game of thrones FF???🥴🥴 It’s just some goofy ass knock off at a show with the most crappest ending ever. Like does Squarenix that really they have no talent to make something unique just a carbon copy of Jon Snow? Yeah it’s a no go on this game.
