I was going to switch my phone bill to my Chase IHG next month (I'm taking the 5% category on the Freedom through March), but the IHG only goes up to $600 per claim. So it's over to Platinum now, since that one has $800 per claim.

Hey Sebby I loved the video as usually however I think you may have overlooked something. Even if you have a maxed out iPhone 12 Pro Max, the replacement cost from apple (out of warranty) is only $599.99. Meaning you could get an entirely new phone twice a year and be fully protected. Apple doesn’t charge based off of the MSRP of the phone. They have a separate replacement cost figure. Am I missing something here? I’ve been wrong before. Hope you get to see this and give clarity.

This makes my decision to get the Chase IHG Premier soon very interesting. One of the main side benefits was the cell phone protection for World Elite MasterCards. Now I don't know. The point about AMEX vs. Chase for Insurance claims are well documented. What other benefit would I like to see? Well I'm finally throwing my hat into the ring and saying that AMEX has to make Airline Incidental Fee credit easier to use. With most airlines dumping most of their change and rebooking fees it is extremely less likely that you could do something to trigger that credit. Before, last 2 years, I could easily use it. Now, not so much. Finally, if Mandy breaks Sebby is she being clumsy??? 🤐😂

With Verizon I bundle my home internet and phone plan... And on autopay from my checking I save $20 a month. (possibly more iirc) This savings always surpassed any need for insurance...so I don't know if I really ever would want to put my phone on a credit card.

Can someone tell me how 3x points on travel for the chase sapphire reserve is better than 5% cashback from the freedom flex? Even though points are 1.5 cents, it's still only 4.5 cents while the flex gives you 5
