Lewis, I've listen to you for years, I never knew your story, somehow. I cried for your 5 year old self & just wanted to wrap my arms around you (the mom in me) so proud of what a beautiful soul you have become today. Thank you for sharing, thanks to both of you for doing what you do! Please do this on a regular basis. Blessings to you both ❤❤❤

I am a 67-year old, Black, female Baby Boomer. I don’t usually comment, but I feel compelled to do it today. Listening to Lewis this morning was a true gift. I’d asked spirit for release-to get out of my head and finally start living my life as who I truly am. Lewis’ story and Jay’s sharing touched and shifted something in me in this personal pivotal moment in my life. Thank you both for this unlikeliest of connections.

The good side to the power of social medial. I am 30 and growing up, I wish I had social media to see something like this to inspire me. I never had any mentors because I was too afraid to speak up about things and getting help. Seeing people do this is truly amazing. I hope many young kids know that they are not alone and I hope those who need to heal get the chance to.

I’m only half way through this video and I’ve cried like 3 times. Thank you both for doing what you do. This is powerful and I needed it today. I have been through so much in my life and all I want to do is share it and be vulnerable. Before YT was big, I had …and I met some amazing ppl and friends. I feel stuck…and I am going to figure some steps this week on how to make some changes. I want to share my heart and story to help others. That’s my passion. Helping others…I am sensitive at times and my last partner made fun of me and said I was too sensitive, to stop it and grow up and I was disappointing for being who I am. I am me and I don’t want to change b/c I’m also very strong, gotten through so many challenges in my life. I’m so kind and caring but now I’ve set boundaries with ppl I have to. I have my moments but we all do. We are human. I believe in my heart, this is my calling in life…I just need to figure it out Thank you again. Keep doing what you are doing.

I have always listened to Lewis interview other people, but this is the first time l have heard his story. He us very authentic and passionate. It strikes a cord in my heart. He has come such a long way with schooling and public speaking yet he us humble enough to admit that the journey has not been an easy one and there is still room for growth. And he is such an impressive interviewer, a couple of times he took over the questioning and l asked aloud if Jay was not the one in charge 😀. I loved the interaction.

Louis I have watched a lot of your videos but never heard your story before today. First I would like to say that I am sorry that you had to go through those horrible things in your young life. No child should ever be exposed to such trauma. However, with that being said, I am firm in my belief that everything happens for a reason. Also, I know that you would not be who you are today if you had not traveled your journey thus far. I am proud of you. I am proud of you for letting your ego go and speaking your truth in a compassionate and sincere way. I guarantee you are helping multitudes! Because ultimately those stigmas and stereotypes still exist to this very day in relation to Mental Health and abuse. Thank you for being you!

I've listened to you Lewis about 50x or more and have heard some of your story but never heard you put it all together in this way. It's very touching to hear how you have opened up and using it to help others. I'm only .25% through video. I certainly didn't have the traumas that you had growing up however it resonates with me when I think about my own childhood and how I never felt seen or heard. So many kids experience this growing up which contributes to generational health or lack thereof in our society. I ask myself every day how to help others, especially children. There is such a need in our culture for people to contribute and help younger generations with similar emotions, tramas, and hardships. I'm looking forward to hearing more and thank you for sharing and for what you do.

Big questions from the interview I plan to ask myself and others: 1. What are your fears? Write them down. Tackle them. 2. What is something that I'm not doing right now that would excite me? 3. What am I most proud of?

I can identify with this talk he's giving. I as a child was so bullied and beaten up that, I would cry to my mom not to have to go back to grade school it wasn't terrific, and I didn't want to exist. People are cruel to you as your own personal need to stand up for yourself and love yourself and the underdog!!! Let your love shine through.

Lewis was absolutely in a flow state and has a beautiful soul (as does Jay). As someone with a brain tumour I agree that there is always a deeper lesson to be learned through adversity. So much gratitude for this show and life in general 💫😊

I needed this message so much! Thank you for giving me the courage to share my story in hopes to inspire others to never give up. Abandoned by my mother at 3 months, foster homes, group homes, jail, drugs, stripping, failed relationships x20, 1st marriage was unsuccessful, suicidal ideation x 3. 3 things have been consistent in life I never gave up, KZbin saved my life when I had no one to speak positively into me I came here and became obsessed with the work you both do! One night at 26 contemplating suicide I cried to God where are you show yourself! I can’t do this alone. I had a mustard seed of faith and typed “how to overcome suicidal thoughts” and I’m sitting here at 34 a completely changed person! The rest is history! One of my life goals is to be on both of your shows. Thank you isn’t enough. You both are two of my greatest mentors. I thank God for you both! God is a God of miracles!

Jay, your heart truly comes through in all that you do. Both you and Lewis both are extradentary men!! All of the content you both share, your love, compassion, the idea of service being a way to change you/us from the inside out is spot on. Lewis, i too was sexually abused and later in my teens, raped. i just spoke for the first time about that to my boyfriend after watching a movie that triggered that instance. i had berried it so far away that i had never thought about it again until i saw the movie. so thank you both for all that you do! keep up the great work as God is working through you to help others!! Trust that!!

I have connected so much with the stories of many many of your guest and Lewis Howes story is just something I relate very much and I feel like its my story in the male version. Lewis Howes thank you for all these tools and tips you have given out to conquere fear. Thank you Jay. I wish I can face the both of you and if i can 10 sec I would say THANK YOU BIG THANK YOU. For you to be here now reading this the odds are you were born are 450 trillion to one. Yes…so YOU matter. There are NO mistakes in the universe. You were created on purpose for a purpose. You are a living, breathing DIVINE MIRACLE. No one in the evolution of mankind has ever been like you. No one ever will. You are unique. You are incomprehensibly rare & thus your value is PRICELESS. I'm so sorry for what happened to you but so proud of you. I'm dealing with similar trauma I have been blocking and can't remember a lot of my childhood. But he always felt deep down I knew something happened and didn't understand why I couldn't remember. I thought I had some form of alzhimer disease or something. I'm 53 and started trauma therapy and breathwork. I think im scared to know. But I really want to release this pain that has caused so much disease in my body. 🙏 for you and your journey.

@Nicole Smart thank you. I'm just beginning mine this year, but I'm grateful I figured out I wasn't just crazy and even though I dont feel like I fit into this world I'm not alone. It's a journey. Thank you and bless you for helping others 🙏

WOW! 5:23 I feel ur pain.. I’m 48 now.. feels like it’s happening again. My traumatic pain is different but the rejection the same.. Hard to love self out of pain. I have ADHD ..at last there was a reason that’s not my heart..that’s it’s not my heart self. Not my mind self.. it’s a pain and it doesn’t pay rent inside me anymore..
