Great day out diving and scrapping Thub. Wow big stainless pipe, nice find. When the video started, I was thinking something's odd here, then the penny dropped, no facial hair !! I couldn't live without mine, I just keep it short. 👍

M8 your comment time stamp 26:58 , where it says do not handle this unless you're a professional : and you're a professional using the speed wrench made my day. Don't forget the dials in the water heaters are aluminum and copper , so you can use a speed wrench , or a pipe wrench to remove them and make a couple more loonies . Keep up the good work. God bless y'all.

I just love seeing the snow in your video today. It was really wonderful to see & watch you out dumpster diving and picking. I can't wait for it to snow up here in Maine. I also wanted to say that the sewing machine may need a good cleaning along with some oil. If you still have that same issue with the machine; you might want to check where the bobbin sits inside the machine. There just might be broken pieces of threads stuck in there which will cause you to have that same issue as well. Also, the pins that hold the spools of threads just might be recessed inside the top of the machine on the right hand side. Good luck to you and be safe my friend.

Him saying something about lubricating the sewing machine gave me flashbacks. At least 15 years ago, I had a sewing machine. It was the one and only item of mine that I ever told my son's dad not to try and fix it if he were to use it, to leave it if something goes wrong. Not to even put any oil or anything in it if it seemed like it needed it because sewing machines had a special kind of oil to lubricate it. When I was asleep one day, he went to use it to sew a tare up on a glove. In short,next time I went to use it, I ended up opening it up and seeing some type or red stuff. The only thing I knew that was red, was brake grease ( or cleaner, one of the two). I immediately went ouside and asked if that was him. He said yes. and I started at him, whatever. He thought I was previously overacting about only using a certian oil for sewing machines. We laugh about it to this day every now and then, because according to his nephew, he had never seen me that angry about anything. I personally don't remember getting that mad (I was mad though), but I don't remember it like that. But apparently I did. So everytime his nephew sees him using a sewing machine, he laughs and tells him not to break that one.

Awesome score with tankless water heater. MAKE SURE TO HAVE AN EXTENDED BIT HOLDER TO RESCH THOSE PEAKY PHILLIPS SCREWS HIDING WAY DOWN IN THERE 😂Those things are hit or miss. I’ve had the same brand multiple times one time it’s copper the other time it’s stainless!
@ScrapFatherScrapSon Жыл бұрын
I commented this very early in the video didn’t realize you were going to break it down. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve lost my long extension and I had to put four or five regular size bit holders together and they’re all wonky flopping around. I lose when they roll underneath something that was funny.😂

The first place I go for repairs are KZbin videos. I would have never known that if you take a tiny screwdriver and push in the right spot, the door panel of a 2004 Trailblazer will literally fall off. This weekend's project is complete brake line replacement for a 2000 Silverado.

That’s one way to do it and it’s a fine backup plan if you rushed the production but it sacrifices a lot of detail and artistry. I’d rather fail sometimes but occasionally publish work with soulfulness and beauty. Or at least that’s how I justify the time and money I spend hunting down wide aperture lenses lol
@JohnAvantiBK11 ай бұрын
@thubprint yes but you lose the frame position if you do it by yourself. Shooting at a wide angle allows you to crop the scene you want and from a higher angle.
@thubprint11 ай бұрын
@@JohnAvantiBK I definitely enjoy making an intentional crop, and you can sort of spoof multiple camera shots by doing that too and I’ve done both. Honestly it’s probably the best reason to shoot in 4k imo. I’ve just been really inspired by separating the subject through shallow depth of field and chasing bokeh and you just can’t do both in the same shot! I would love to have a camera person though

@jayr9810 Жыл бұрын
The way he broke it down would have taken 15 minutes if he had a longer extension and done one before. Even if this one being his first took an hour it's still worth the nearly $40 selling it as he broke it down as #2 copper, clean brass, electric motors, dirty aluminum, #2 wire and tin shred But hey if you would rather get $4 and toss it as shred instead of doing a little work and average return of $144/hr
