Always a treat to see someone who builds a culture that is understandable, but also completely alien to us. They are logical, and logic dictates that if you can replace the numbers, then the population loss from such things matters less than the cost of maintaining a measure against it. Basically, this civilization is working under the rules of a 4X game, and thinking that's simply how it's done because that's how they've done it. But it's not the same thing when those lives have faces and names, and while they're not able to see beyond themselves, so they can't change the system, the humans are more than happy to provide a boot to the butt to get it going. Also, the AI art is better with these Xenos than it was in most of the prior ones. You must have given it a better seed, or you swapped the AI program you're using. And of course, the AI voice you use is one of the better ones, and you've learned how to make that thing sing...not literally yet, but you know you've got different tones and inflections don't to give each voice a unique flavor.

The only flaw with this upload is... it's so SHORT!!! I wanted more from this! I enjoyed it thoroughly. I'm probably going to rewatch/listen to all the Human Altered episodes. I have listened to all of The Black Ship so far, all of Terran Contact so far, The New Species and The New Threat so far, and I just this weekend finally delved into/finished Adopted by Humans which was absolutely a treat to devour. I've enjoyed every single story from RickWrites, and I'm thrilled by so much on this channel. I've tried watching a few videos from other channels, but either the AI voice was too annoying or the stories too shallow. It's making me want to write stories and post them on my own channel. I also have a friend who is a fantastic writer and I may have to ask if he wants me to feature his stories. Man I love this stuff!😆

If you go back and listen to @SciFiStories1977 early posts, you will realize how far his production skills have progressed. @SciFiStories1977 is simply the most careful in his attention to detail with respect to not only what is written, but HOW it's written. As far as I know, @SciFiStories1977 is the only u-tuber that seeks permission and shares the bounty with the content authors. And yes, The Black Ship, and Many, many others are great. Some, I listen to over again and again.

I love these stories. . . I am not a degreed engineer, but have been engineering all my life. These stories remind me of Belana Torez on Star Trek Voyager talking to human descendants abducted from Earth (the episode where they find a 50's pickup in space), "Politicians run societies, . . . Engineers build societies."

The one thing i really hate about AI art is when there is text involved. Listening to that Journalist go on about cost benefit of children is getting me aggravated. the author knows how to write well. This series is excellent
