I remember having the 3x spicy noodles when there was that noodle challenge. I bought a whole box of them. It was hell eating those. My stomach was on fire all day. I had to eat almost a pint of ice cream every time I eat them. I learned not to cooked the noodles with the sauce. I only put the sauce on after the noodles were cooked and I didn't put on the whole packet either. Never again though.

Regarding the 2x fire noodles... I STARTED with those (I didn't see that there was less spicy versions) and they were really spicy, but the regular is perfect. What I recommend is adding some tomato soup (a can, with some soy milk if needed) and add it to that. Really mingles well with the flavour. If that is still too much, there is always peanut butter which adds more creaminess.

Where I live it’s all except the creamy ones. Look for the halal certification (halal doesn’t necessarily mean vegan but for these they correspond)

I found Buldak spicy noodles that are Halal but have oyster sauce...😢. Not vegan. Make sure to read.

I bought a pack of the buldak spicy noodles (not the 2x) today along with a bunch of other things at the Korean grocery store and the very nice lady who works there looked at the noodles among the other things on the counter and then back at me and said "these are yours??" and laughed at me when I said yes..... that made me *extra* worried that I'm not cut out for them, though I'm still going to try. 😂

I've never had fire noodles, and I might have to pass, lol, though I do like some spice. Was that commercial Just Egg or your homemade version? Your recipe for the Just Egg has become a staple. I love making omelets with it.

The noodles are regular wheat noodles. The sauce has black bean sauce which is made out of fermented soybeans or mung(? I think) Beans. With other additives. Its the instant version of the dish
