Yeah, that part of the video bothered me - he lost an extra PoM. Basically fireballz until you get a proc, blast to force a pyro, fish for another proc, then pom -> alter time -> spam your pyros, including PoM pyro -> alter time ends -> spam more pyroz, PoM pyro again

dont forgett to presence of mind befor Alter time, so you will have the buff again when you cancel alter time, gets you a free pyro and some more dmg

go to your addon tab on the character screen click it and enable out of date addons

isn't there a trick where you fire off presence of mind, timewarp and then blow 3 pyros (assuming they crit) get your alter time and you have the presence of mind buff again to fire off an extra pyro?

so with the combustion addon the number i see my ignite is my current 4 sec crit window? and cubsting then will be what combusted only just played fire i got 45% crit so why not

When I install an addon with Curse when I then log on it just says out of date. Then I reinstall it and it happens again. Any ideas on how I can fix this?

using your shatter passive and your 2 abilities giving you 5% crit each. you only need a minimum of 15% crit for 100% against frozen targets.15%+5%+5%=25. Shatter doubles then adds 50% so 25x2+50=100%

got a 200k combustion today and wasnt shocked at all ^^ Depends on luck son, you can get a max 7 pyros in a row, if you get them and they all crit you will get insane burst ^^

Cata and MoP are two different animals. give frost a chance you might pull more dps, just check and Icy Veins guide :)

I've been playing fire since the start of the patch, started at maybe 505ilvl. Now sitting on 520 and I still think you need at least 40% crit full buffed to have good consistent crits. Currently sitting around 39%. It's very disappointing when none of your spells crit when you've lined up alter time. Most of the time it is pretty consistent but it's really stupid how much gear you actually need to make this spec work well.

man you pve guys have it tough, all us pvp guys have to do is inferno blast>frostjaw>scorch>scorch>deep>at/pom>pyro>pyro>pyro>at>pyro>inferno>nova>combust>inferno>pyro>pyro to get our pyro crit chain off. They should really allow you to apply the frozen debuff to bosses even if they just remove the cc aspect of it -so then u could shatter your pyros like we do in pvp.

I'm so happy that my fire Mage is pvp, thanks blizz for giving us shatter to rock 100% crit with only 25% with buffs up on frozen dudettes :) -3 shatter

@major that's true, the macro he should be using for alter time is: #showtooltip /use 10 /cast Presence of Mind /cast Berserking /cast Alter Time /cast Pyroblast as it gives you one more extra pyro outside of alter time..also his opener is wrong aswell..I don't know why is he giving advices, tips and tricks on all classes & specs as he don't know how to play any of those at high level and neither he has some kind of notable achievements & ranks...

Ah yes, the famous undead mage berserking. How could he be so foolish as to not include it? Maybe don't blindly copy Vykina's posts without understanding them. Though yes, he did fuck up with PoM. Also,since you don't know, he used to be on Method's main roster, so I'd say he knows at least one class really well.

He wasn't Method's main rooster, he was only there as trial. And this is the macro mages actually do use, and as I'm troll mage I copied main macro. And as far as I know Vykina said long time ago he's not using Berserking during Alter Time and rather before it for extra pyros.. But tell me, from what part of my post did you concluded I don't understand it?

my crit are 43% with raid buff atm, but i still have LOOOOOONG period of time where nothing happen and i have to spam fire ball. so yeah, too low still

it kinda gets me, he said if your gear isn't giving you 30 to 35% crit, don't even bother, but I can pull respectable numbers in crap gear, 55 to 65k in RF is holding in the top 5 most the time, im at 20% crit atm, I refuse to go into dungeons as frost just to pull the same numbers :(

dunno i just tried out another spec since i heard that arcane got rerfd (this is an allt) :P but i didnt know anything so i think it is an combination of me being stupidly retardet att aoe and me not getting the spec right (i was dooing about 20k dps while in frost i was dooing about 55k) xD

i loved fire mages in cata and i hate it that in mists of pandaria you are almost forced to use frost if you have low ilvl. i hate frost it's just so squishy i have always been fire/arcane so it really bothers me to use frost in pve it should have stayed as a pvp spec.
