I aaw a few of the earlier vids with less experienced hunters, it was good but this is great. Having all the hunters being able communicate so smoothly and get on the page is amazing. What's absolutely crazy to me about the series is it's longevity. The orginal manhunt concept from dream was done like 13 times or whatever, but that makes sense - Minecraft inherently has a huge amount of freedom in it. Hollow Knight, while huge, is much more restricted than MC and yet this series never fails to get me hyped for some sort of insane strat I've never thought of before :D

I think this series is more entertaining than the minecraft one, more so because I think this game lends itself to speed running a lot more but is nonlinear enough to still allow for mind games and stuff.

i think you also have to commend team cherry for that not just cuz the game is awsome but because there are so many different and unique paths to use to get from point a to point b that while this game at first seems very restrictive practically any idea if you think it's possible to manouver that way it probably can be done

Spore shroom and Thorns of agony are always useful if you're a quick-moving player. Dive into an enemy to get off thorns and then quick heal to set off spores. Bonus points for Shape of Uunn.

After Freja said they'd no longer cheat, I had a really dumb idea for a speedrunner v. hunters video. Some major glitches allowed, minor glitches allowed. You are not allowed to summon unloaded areas to kill HK. You are allowed to glitch movement to your heart's content

I got to say, both Fire and the all the Hunters were really on their game this episode. I love it when the hunters say he might be going/already at blank, while he's already there and that happened along here. They tracked him well and backed him into a corner alot here, it was fun.

God I love this ruleset. It's so well balanced and truly makes these games interesting. The Hunters did a damn good job this round, they were on Fire's trail the whole way through, never giving him too much of a breather, and were clearly experienced in some of his little cheeky skips and transition baiting. This one was hella fun, ggs to all.

Wow, what a great run! I was so impressed with how well the Hunters tracked you and managed to stall you a lot! It would have been very different if they killed you from this 1hp just one or two more times. GG Hunters, that was really awesome teamwork! As for the ruleset feedback, 1. The HK fight felt a bit anticlimatic, maybe it's too restrictive for Hunters to get stuck at the scream every time they enter the room? 2. Commissioning the invincibility mod improvement was a great move. In general the new multiplayer mod seems to be working wonderfully, I'm glad the community is still investing into improving it. I hope there aren't too many technical issues with it that get cut from the videos. It's a bit worrying that Neo got disconnected at the end, maybe it would be worth looking into some stability improvements?...

Thanks Joanna! I've considered tweaks to balance the THK fight, but it is very close to where I want it. I'm going to try removing Dream Gates in favor of giving them an extra mask, which should feel more fair for both sides. I know Dream Gates feel broken from my perspective, but having only four masks is similarly tough for them. Technical issues are pretty common unfortunately, but it's mostly on the user's end. I have some ideas to help deal with it in the future, though. Thanks for the reminder, because I know it can definitely be disappointing when they happen.

I would love a slower version of this, maybe with a different ending. With a focus on maybe have three lives or something but a more generous time limit. It's hard because you want them to track you and firce engagements but also it's cool when you can skulk around and get items. I ultimately would like one that encourages you to get more than a few charms plus a nail art.

I have to agree with the majority of the comments section and say seeing this with different endings (timelimit edited to compensate for that) would be amazing. While there are some categories that would be impossible (for example any of the 112% categories) we never get to see what sort of strategies the hunters would use in the abyss and other areas you have no reason to go to outside of TE. I do have to admit though......hunters would need some sort of restriction in White Palace.

From my experience, deep focus isn’t that good unless you also have quick focus. I think it also synergises better with ss than deep focus does just because you can get those clouds up so fast
