I remember the first time I saw her was a few years ago and she just stepped out a few feet from the curtains. It was a genuine surprise to Colbert and was something that needed only a few seconds of his time. His face glowed and he rushed over to her like a school boy with a crush on the supply teacher.

I've been saying since the first time she came around on Stephen's show that Evie should be his Andy Richter sidekick, but I've come around to the idea that a) she doesn't really want to do that every night (I presume; I have no knowledge of that, and she always seems to be having fun on the show); and b) it makes it that much more special when she does grace us with her presence. But I agree, I would tune into pretty much anything Evie was a star of. (Evie is the star of anything and everything she's involved in...that includes Late Night and Stephen knows it) ;)
