This was our car. We bought it in Ventura, California, at the German Autofeast. It was built in Washington State. We lived in Arizona at the time, and my husband stripped the entire interior and did all the interior work while there. The Wevo was also installed at that time. We have a book full of pictures documenting the entire build. We sold it in 2012 when we were in Arkansas. That was a mistake. That was a great FUN 911 we should have kept.

I drove one in November and bought it in December, sold my 997 for it. So far she is an absolute beaut.

Great review! it is nice to see the younger generation "get" what these very special air-cooled cars are all about, even older cars in general. People are obsessed with 0-60 times and other nonsense when they will probably never appear on a track where second matter. I will take "feel" and visceral rawness over new techy fast super car type any day.

I have a '89 3.2 Coupe I got from a friend of the family. Wouldn't sell it for any amount of money. I didn't realize that there's so few coupes from that year with 1096 being imported to the US and Canada. No wonder they are so expensive.

Window dressing...car is tarted up to look like something it’s not without any real engine/suspension upgrades.I have owned an 1987 Carrera since new and what he says is absolute crap
