Just started dashing last week and have been averaging $25 an hour. Not bad to not have to sit in an office all day.

Yeah wait for the honeymoon period to end. They send you better orders when you're new to get you hooked

hahaha, untill your new driver buff wears off then you will get the trash orders like the rest of us. You will lose money doing door dash. I'v been doing door dash for 8 years and I can't even turn the app on anymore because it is impossible to make money I had to quit after 8 years. My market might be really bad but I duno. I made decent money the whole 8 years until the last month and really since the rewards system took over, because if I can't reject, cause u cant log on if you do. then your forced to accept, then you lose money, it is TOTAL MADNESS

@@MikeLockheart if you can schedule without platinum then do that. Some markets are oversaturated and the only way to dash is to play the platinum game. Most days, if I get online early enough, I can schedule 6 days out. There's just barely enough room left for me to schedule and cherry pick, but I still need to multi app to make the whole day worthwhile

$31 for 7 miles is suspicious. Usually the orders that pay that good are ones that the restaurant can't make. That forces a lot of drivers to decline some genuinely good orders thinking they're actually bad orders. Like that $31 for 7 miles probably was a good order but a lot of drivers have been burned by that $ to mile ratio that they automatically turn them down.
