Focus on your exercises to raise your leg more quickly directly when it touches the ground. This is the secret to winning.

How are the shoes holding up? Have the sole popped just like the maxflys you did a "review" of? Edit: asking cuz I am interested in also getting "super spikes" and the Maxfly is the only ones in stock.

Hi, Mathias. Just wondering why do you have so low leg movement traectory in start-acceleration fase? Or such a low heel recovery that it is looking like you're draggging your legs? Did you change your start technique (mechanics) before looking for improvement or it's naturally and you didn't correct anything drastically? What if your start will be more efficient and more powerfull if you will raise your leg (knee) a bit higher after the point when your driveing leg is reaching center of mass point (in front of it)? Looks like you have a lot of strength and power, but what if you wasting it (not using efficiently or for full potential) because your "hammers" (legs) have too low space for good swing (unsufficient swing height in front of CoM to apply powerfull whacks at starting acceleration) and powerfull whack behind your back? Because not so many people in world are able to apply big enough force to the ground with such high frequency and with such low swing. Especially if you have such powerfull legs (hammers) but are using them as little toy pen-hammers? Could you tell more how you changed your technique and why? Trying to copy some elite sprinters technique sacrificing your natural abilities? Or "leg like a piston", but what if it should be not exactrly like a piston (not strictly straight line but a bit curved from low at the back and a bit higher in front), atleast not during total flight length for first steps and only at the back of your centre of mass and going a bit up in front of CoM? Or maybe you have took some advices from elite sprint coaches abroad or you trained with some sprinters from other countries for experience exchange (don't know why but I always liked Japanese sprinters maybe because many of them are short (shorter than average western sprinters) like me myself, but damn fast as Skyline or Supra)? Maybe you could go for training camp in Japan (or other country or athlete you would like to train with) to train together with some of them at winter period if it would be interesting for you? Interesting to hear your thoughts and story about evolution and changes in your running techniques and mechanics.
