Here's the neat thing about Metallica, they've been around so long, the more you explore their music, the more you run into different generations of metalheads. I'm realy looking forward to you getting into bands like Iron Maiden, Dio, Black Sabbath, some of the quintessentials of metal music. Iron Maiden - Aces High.

@@ImDarin a riff is essentially a repeated chord progression or a set of notes that’s played in a certain rhythm or tempo throughout a song. The riff I’m referring to in this song starts at 5:25. If you’re talking about soul, I’d argue that Load is the most soulful of their albums due to the heavy blues influence and the space that’s created for the vocals to take centre stage. It’s not as heavy as the back album, or as hard as the first four albums, but that’s a different thing.

People who'd never heard Metallica before and those who can enjoy more than one genre of music loved (most of) these two albums. People are weird. You know who you are out there, someone's going to chirp. Same as for the Dave Mustaine stans, it's the unreasonable ones that are always loudest.
