Hey folk’s on today’s video it’s all about the new Triumph Tiger 850 Sport, and firstly apologies for the shaky camera action at the start it gets better and we even go down a green lane a little off road. Have the bike for a week, any questions drop them below ? Cheers Nick @ MotoUK 👍

I hope you don’t mind me asking, but when you upload to YT, which category do you choose ? I am rather torn between Travel & Events and Autos & Vehicles, I actually use Travel & Events. Thanks.

Couldn’t see the birds clearly but they are not Grouse (wrong habitat) but Partridge. Could possibly be young pheasant but my money is on Partridge. These are commercial raised birds on a shooting estate and whilst young they tend to stay close to the feeders in the woods.

Good review thank you. One thing missing as in all reviews, can you please give feedback regarding wind noise from the screen, I wear ear plugs but still looking for a winless ride! Many thanks. Peter

Hi Peter thanks 🙏 I did mention on the last ride video. I’m 6’2 tall and in the high position the screen works ok no buffeting but a little noise on top edges of my helmet, no pressure on chest though.

@@MOTOUK1 Thank you for the reply and clarification, it just seems that people don’t pay enough attention to this very important detail, which is just as important as the seat for comfortable riding, like you I have been riding for many a year and now I want a bit more peace and searching for the bike that will give it. Very pleased you let me know which is the better bike v tracer as that is what I’m looking to sway it for. Stay safe and thank you again!

Great review as always 👍🏻 As an only bike, it’s just missing cruise control for me

Kudos for going off road on a heavy bike, I've done years off greenlaning mainly on a Honda XLR250 Baja and a Husqvarna TE410, both relatively light offroader bikes., wouldn't dream of taking my very heavy Yamaha 1200 Super Tenere off-road, despite it being built for it lol.

Thanks NL 👍 it handled it well but wasn’t hardcore off road and dry ish. Over the rocks I was impressed with the suspension being non adjustable and just soaked it up in its stride.

that is a nice neat bike, is the rear box big or is it me ? some nice pannier boxes and you would be ready for the NC 500, I was watching another vlogger who had this bike in the XRX version and had problems with the TFT screen as well as other owners, they are £800 to £900 to replace which was only replaced once under his warranty, maybe Triumph has rectified the problem, the 900 GT is probably what I would go for, I could almost smell the chips in Arnside it really is a lovely place, the boots and gloves look the part, I hope Triumph are comparing your presentations to the very poor ones MCN do!!

No it’s the fish eye on the camera 🎥 making box look big but it’s 50lt so yes large. I can fit 2 helmets in it 😂 yes the screens are better now different. Yes the GT has it all. Just back from a cracking lakes ride only to find issues with sound, I’ll see if it’s workable once it finishes loading by morning. If not I’ll have to do again 😢😂 good excuse. Yes happy with the boots and gloves and today I rode in the new RST Brixton waxed textile jacket, great and pleased with it. I’m off to MCN festival beginning sept so I’ll tell them 😂 will be taking the rocket 3 down

Nice bike imo needs handguards and how weird does that open front looking down look, would imagine it throws road muck straight up in your face 🤔great video pal 😎
@MOTOUK13 жыл бұрын
The 900 GT has the hand guards and the space is due to the enormous fork travel on these types of bikes. My tracer was the same. No muck comes up though 😂
@fizzyridertoo Жыл бұрын
Considering you're saving nearly 3 grand over the 900, a set of handguards isn't much of an expense.

What is your height?

I am 6’2 feet tall 185cm but the seat is slim so god also I think for your height, would suggest go sit on one in a show room to be sure
@fizzyridertoo Жыл бұрын
There's a low seat available which takes it down to 82 cm.

Love your channel but this Triumph thing is not for me. I tune in for the MT10SP. Just my opinion of course but please bring back the MT10SP.
