BCPR7ES spark plugs are the plugs to use, the spark plugs are a 3 millimeters taller and contact the spring in the coilpack better. We've had issues with spark breakup with BKR7E plugs with RBs on the dyno around the 400hp mark before and switched to BCPRs to fix the issue.

+1 these are what my tuner recommended I run in my RB - 600whp pump gas from New Zealand.

This is very good information! Thank you for the tip, I’ll be using this in my R33 gtr when I go big single 😊

I wedged some silicone vacuum line between the top of my radiator and the support to fill the gap and it really helped with cooling. That’s why the factory puts a foam strip or whatever there.

In person, GTR with a Tomei just exudes power. It's like in anime where a character has an aura that overpowers everyone else around them 😍

God I can't get over how good the Regamaster MPs look in white with the proper center caps!! I just bought a set of OG Enkei RP01s that'll be restored to gloss white too, and those are only proper when the white center caps with blue accents are present to match. GTR is so good PT! Enjoy it!!

The RB was ALWAYS the better sounding engine. And is even more capable than the 2jz. There are RB powered drag cars doing 5 second 1/4 mile passes consistently just like the 2jz. However. Unlike the 2jz,the RB has a long history in road racing,winning many championships and even being banned in the R32 from Group A racing back in the 90s,even winning the Spa 24hours back in 1991 and a class 5 win in a R34 at the Nurburgring 24 hour in 2004.

Factory oil filter location always drench the front diff and oil pan with oil when you pull out the filter. But you have a relocation kit, so that's what I would look at. If the front diff is oily it's most likely from the oil filter turret.

Badass rumble! You would think Greddy quality control would pickup and test those before they ship them out.. probably like everything else quality has changed…

Agree. It's completely inexcusable for the price they ask for this kit.

The oil filter above the front diff is such an irritating design, I knew it was going to irritate me so I bought the TAARKS relocation kit because I'm not dealing with that everytime I change oil filters.

Hey Pete, just a small note to tweak your OCD! The 6 o'clock position on the center cap is technically supposed to be pointing towards the valve stem on each wheel. Some people get very fanatical about that, particularly in the Porsche community lol
@GleepGlop22 жыл бұрын
I don't know how its supposed to go but I was actually surprised he just seemed to slap it on knowing him.

Americans with RB's need to learn from the Australians. They've been tuning the engines for over 30 years! MotiveVideo on youtube frequently goes to the big GTR shops in Sydney, Croydon Racing Developments being one. These guys know GTR's and RB's better than damn near everyone. Especially when it comes to building and tuning.

How do you guys plan on tuning the R34 while keeping HICAS? I have a Prelude SH and i have a similar unit with the ATTS where you can’t get rid of the stock ecu or it’ll disable it. Only way I’ve heard of tuning these kinds of cars are with something like an HKS FCON V-Pro or a Greddy Emanage or something along those lines. Love how the build is coming along would love to see an answer to my question!
