LMAO Jamee 😆😆😆😆 Great reaction, welcome to the world of Jinjer. Yes that is 100% Tatiana. She is in my opinion, the best female metal vocalist/growler in the world, period. She is definitely the best I've ever heard and I've been a metal head for over 40 years. A quick FYI, they are from Ukraine, and their names are, Tatiana (vocals), Eugene (bass), Roman (guitar), and Vlad (drums). They are a phenomenal band, Tati gets the most attention because of her incredible vocals, but make no mistake, the guys are equally phenomenal. If you choose to react to more Jinjer, you won't be disappointed, each song is unique and different, some songs are really heavy, others are not, but each one fantastic. I'll suggest "Perennial" live at Wacken open Air 2019, for your next Jinjer reaction (if you choose to) You'll see the band play live, and you'll see Tati's incredible vocals first hand, and realize it's all her voice. Welcome to the Jinjer experience Jamee. I've seen Jinjer live and they sound exactly the same. Tatiana is an absolute goddess with the soul of a demon when she performs. When she talks to the audience though she is humble, sweet and kind and even a little shy. I fell in love with her (and the band) years ago. Cool reaction, please do more of this phenomenal band.

Good call pointing out the rest of the band. Tatiana's power catches ones attention but they are all incredibly talented musicians and composers. One of the reasons I liked this so much when I first heard it is having dated women who can do that at _any_ time of the month haha. But I respect that she doesn't sugarcoat it. :) There is a lot of editing here so it is best to check out a concert video next - as a still relatively small metal band they live and die by their live shows and toured constantly before the lockdowns so they are extremely good on stage. Perennial live at Wacken is the usual next step being similar in heaviness to this and a brutally beautiful song. The one-take vocal performance of Judgment & Punishment is another good one after that but that's getting a bit heavier and their songs ramp up in hardness from there. :) Cheers!

It's the Jinjer effect.. This song is great and for shock value for first time listeners. As suggested by others, you should do "Teacher, Teacher" next, then "Perennial" live at wacken 2019. And yes, it's all her. There is some vocal layering, but nothing that she can't do. She is so skilled that she can switch between growls and singing damn near effortlessly. To put it simply, she's the best of both worlds; voice of an angel and growl of a demon. Hope you enjoy the Jinjer rabbit hole!

It's Jinjer time and I will always be here for that. I'm a jinjer reaction junkie. This band is special next level stuff they brought me back to metal after a hiatus exploring other music. I'm a 53 year old black male metal head and I have always been a metal head. Used to be a novelty at shows it was me and maybe 6 others. And in the last few years I have been watching a lot of people who might not have been introduced to this music embaracing it and it makes me happy to see others what I think is the best band ever. Discovered your channel searching for Jinjer reactions tonight as us all Jinjer army soldiers do. I remember watching this video when it only had just under 1 million views and look how many views it has now wow! Jinjer’s first time in the United States was in 2018 they were supporting Cradle of Filth. That was the first tine I saw Jinjer live in San Diego. Saw them again later that same year and once again in 2019. I had tickets to see them again in LA April 2020 but then covid canceled all that. I have my fingers crossed 🤞 they will return to the U.S. later this fall. Pisces is from their King of Everything album and it’s a great album from start to finish. Another original video I recommend from that same album is a song called “Just Another”. You probably won’t recognize Tatiana in that video because she has a totally different look and hairstyle as she does throughout her career. Glad to have stumbled across your channel. the only trickery in this one was they added some fill in guitar and doubled up he voice in a couple places. But she has been showing off her talents live for many years, Perennial @ wacken 2019 or Judgement and Punishment (live one take) are good ones to see for yourself.

This is a live in-the-studio version of the song, though the only thing production-wise is some layering of her vocals in a couple spots, such as when she sings "drowns into liquid gold", you can here 'liquid gold' whispered at the same time, otherwise that's all her. Another in-studio song she performs in Judgment and Punishment.

That was fun. :) The growls are done with the false vocal cords also called vestibular folds instead of the vocal cords. It isn't vocal range the way we normally think of it but rather two totally different techniques which Tatiana has mastered and learned to switch seamlessly between. In other songs she switches in mid-line for emphasis. Crazy good stuff. Kudos for checking it out and being open-minded. And for calling out the guys too, because they are a huge part of the sound and their composition process. Subbed!

It is about their hometown in eastern Ukraine getting caught in the war there. One of the most powerful anti-war songs I've heard and speaks eloquently for the millions of civilians caught in every war around the world.

Defineitly all her. They used a bit of doubling, but the rest was all her. If you check out the 'Judegment and Punishment one take' performance, its a video of just her, and you can see how she uses her posture at different stages of her singing to achieve some of her notes, worth checking out if you are genuinely curious!

Jinjer is from Ukraine and every member is an exceptional musician. They are Roman on guitar, Vlad on drums, Eugene on bass and Tatiana on vocals (and yes that is all her). Might try Teacher Teacher or Perineal live at wacken next.

Yes, that's her. This song is actually a re-recording of an older song, to show off their (at the time) new drummer. But with how it is composed, it started to go viral on reaction channels, primarily due to the vocals of course. But this actually gave them the much needed exposure, managing to gather a pretty large and growing fan base who can appreciate the whole bands talent and technical level they are playing on. And as great as Pisces is as a cherry popper, it's far away from being their best song. I'll drop my usual Jinjer recommendations if you want to check out more. Totally her... check any live song like "Perennial - Live in Wacken" or "Who's gonna be the one - LIve (official)" to see her in a live venue singing and grrowling. She's using her vocal cords for the clean voice and the vocal folds (not cords) to growl... You can get information about this technique out there in the internet for sure. Ir requires a lot of practice and expertise

From what I've seen (trying to wrap my brain around what Tatiana does through research, not an expert at all!), the terms folds and cords are generally used interchangably. But it is the vocal cords/folds for speaking and singing vs false cords/folds or vestibular folds for those growls.

I've been watching the Pisces reactions for about three years now and it's always great to see what people have to say about it. I discovered this band about four years ago. At that time they were pretty much unheard of in the way they are now. They've got a lot of great songs. Definitely continue exploring their work, it's worth it. ...and maybe sometime you'll want to try some of the other bands with female vocalists that do harsh vocals. Have fun! 👍

Yeah Jamee. It's all her. Notice when they focus on the guys, there's not 1 microphone among them. Her vocal acrobatics are absolutely astonishing. As was said in a previous comment, pisces is a gateway drug. Tatiana, Vlad, Roman, and Eugene are all amazing in their respective crafts. They simply do not have a bad song. One of my favorite songs ever by them is beggar's dance, although is maddeningly short.

Yep, Tatiana is real :). Great reaction. A similar reaction to what I had when I first heard them. Like you I never really heard or got into much harder music. Now Jinjer is my favorite band. I'm obsessed. Each member is great at what they do. Tatiana is just amazing. She had some formal lessons for about 3 months at 8 years old, but everything is pretty much self taught. Eugene (bassist - self taught), Roman (guitarist - I think self taught), and Vlad (drummer - classic pianist, jazz pianist, jazz drummer, and plays guitar) are all great. Very complex music but always with a groove. They consider themselves extreme progressive music (not metal - although they are heavy). They bring all kinds of styles and genres into their music. You need to check out Perennial (Live at Wacken 2019). Yes Tatiana is the best, check out "judgement and punishment Tatiana one take vocals" "perennial like a wacken" " teacher teacher" the entire band is great but Tatiana is untouchable vocally, they also have great lyrics most of which have pretty deep meaning I suggest having them printed out or in a separate window so you can catch all of it
