Yeah, man! Me too. Big part of my high school years. Hit me hard, that age, checking out all the girls. Brings back great memories, even some of break ups. I can never pinpoint who, just takes me right back there, and I get that strange feeling… almost hard to listen to even sometimes. Especially since Eddie’s passing.

Such a great breakdown of 'Dreams'! I love how you highlighted the ambient intro and the uplifting, motivational vibe of the song. Sammy Hagar's vocals are definitely a standout here, and the whole track just feels so optimistic. Can totally see this playing during air shows or action-packed scenes like in Top Gun! Definitely one of those songs that inspires you to chase your dreams. Great reaction!

I recently lost my brother and this song really reminds me of how we would just jam out to this one song. He played drums and i played guitar and Van Halen were our heroes when it came to music. When this album came out back in 86 this was our favorite song. He was 12 and i was 8 and now im 46 and he passed at 50. Great memories to this song

I was in 6th grade and my older cousin took me to the movies and he was listening to the 5150 album. Dreams came on and I fell in love with this song at that young age. Generally, little kids dont listen to hard rock. And there are many reasons for that. I asked my mom for it and she bought me the 5150 album on cassette for my Walkman and I memorized the entire album. This album and Eddie Van Halen are what made me want to learn how to play the guitar. To be exact, the title song 5150 is the song that made me want to learn how to play the guitar. I was obsessed with that song for a long time. Van Halen has remained in my top 5 all time favorite bands for over 30 years. I love both DLR and Sammy. I pretty much love every one of their songs. I even love some of the songs off Van Halen 3 with Gary Cherone on vocals after Sammy got fired, or he quit. IDK the story. Good reaction video. I look forward to catching some more.

This song takes me back to a time when life was simple, Friday night lights playing football and then grabbing my girlfriend after the game and finding the best road party to hit, then spend the night in my Bronco out in west Marin, not too far actually from where Sammy Hagar lives in Mill Valley. Wake up in the morning, race home to drop off my girlfriend and catch my pops walkin in the door from a long night working at the hospital. While my mom was giving me a tune up about staying out all night, I'd look over and my dad would give me a wink and head for bed. So much fun, had the world by the balls.
