But, to be fair to her, I kinda understand the reaction. I don't condone it, but i get it. If these are younger individuals, say 25 ish, the girl was probably told for her entire life that men only want her for sex. She probably experienced it too, and how many bad experiences can you have before you consider it the status quo? It was prolly engrained into her head that "if a guy asks you to come over, it will only ever be for sex," Again, that's no excuse for that kinda reaction given the context, but she was prolly thinking that it was better to be safe than sorry.

I had a chick accuse me of "only being after one thing" after I declined a second date. It was an interesting take on why I didn't want to see her again given I was honest about the actual reason. See, on our first date we hit a couple of bars and then she invited me to her place, not for nookie mind you, but so she could engage in some 420 behaviors. But then she got carried away, got way too blown out and proceeded to have a massive panic attack. I helped her though it, made sure she was okay and then took my leave. So you can imagine how impressed I was at her messages a few days later accusing me of being a creep rather than even acknowledging the massive red flag she flew on our first date.

I had a woman message me a couple days after our first date, which btw she brought a friend. She wanted to come over because she had been in a fight at a party and my place was nearby (btw I never invited her over prior) and she needed a place to crash. I lived in a 1 bedroom house, I offered her the couch as I had work in the morning. She goes into a full on alcohol induced seizure the next day from drinking my alcohol and then was flabbergasted as to why I didn't want to pick her up from the hospital after she checked herself out, claiming to the staff, that "I agreed to pick her up". Yeah, F that, major red flag.

As a woman, I love baking and cooking dates but I don’t feel comfortable doing that until earliest the 3rd date. However, I cannot blame the guy for suggesting it as they had just talked about it. If I were her, I’d have replied with something firm yet polite and playful like “Tbh I don’t really feel comfortable coming to your place just yet for cooking or baking so how about we go to a restaurant and have someone else do the cooking for us first? 😉”. You can tell this guy would have been totally cool and respectful about it.

Perfect example of a light hearted and flirty way to redirect that conversation! Yeah some guys get really pushy about this kind of thing. My friend was recently in the online dating scene and she told me about this time she set up a coffee date with a guy, and then he tried to redirect her to his house because quote, "his new puppy had separation anxiety, so he can't leave." And when she suggested they go to a park with the puppy instead, he made up some weird reasoning why his dog couldn't leave his house. So she just called the whole thing off and moved on. There is a reason even being active on tinder would be similar to cheating for many, many monogamous couples. The app has a fairly straight forward purpose on that regard. I used to be in one of those groups she was describing, people would share screenshots of horrible/funny Tinder interactions. You’d find a lot of people being rude to nice people as excuse to farm interactions, which was super depressing. Women have every reason to fear going to someone’s house as a first date but it seemed quite clear that this guy wasn’t trying to manipulate her into going anywhere. I remember people who have been kind to me when I was going through shit and that behavior wasn't expected or required (like as part of their job). I admit that it's harder to do when someone is being a jackass, and yeah, it might not be "rewarded." I try anyway. With people like in the video, you can at least get a little pleasure knowing they're probably just more angry that you're not reacting the way they want or expect. Reacting negatively to people like this only escalates things - you can't fix them by putting them in their place. Only a therapist and meds can correct an imbalance that severe. You never know who you are talking to from Tinder unless you meet in person and are you willing to take that risk if you're a woman? I could tell you about the meetups (I don't class them as dates) I have had with girls from Tinder and catfished is what I will use to describe them. There were 2 girls I actually had feelings for but it went nowhere so we both parted ways no harm done, the others were just a complete and total disaster from the get-go and a complete waste of money since I paid for everything, every time.
