If you're interested in checking out more from Byzantine, a really good song and a personal favorite of mine is "Which Light Shall Never Penetrate". It's one of their songs with Metalcore elements and it's very passionate, or you might like another long progressive song called "Verses Of Violence" (this song is a huge hit amongst their fans). I hope you give Byzantine another shot, their discography is amazing!

Huge Byzantine fan here, this band is really, really underappreciated in metal scene, they have been around for a while now, it's like a hidden gem that rarely gets discovered. If you do an album review, do their 'They shall take up the serpent'' album, absolute killer, if a song then I recommend either 'Jeremiad' or 'soul eraser', Byz has one hell of a discography, all of their music is top tier!.

There was quite a bit of variation there, which is a plus. I don't know that I'm 100 percent sold. But I'm definitely interested, impressed with their skills. Great reaction!

I've known some of these guys since elementary school. Tons of talent and West Virginia's top metal band.

If you're looking for a Byzantine album to listen to, my favorite album is their self titled album called "Byzantine" or I would recommend their more recent album "The Cicada". Btw, Byzantine is Groove Metal with Thrash and Metalcore elements.

Awesome. I saw Byzantine about 5 years ago, when this was new, without knowing anything about them, one of the best (intimate, metal) shows ever, sound was impeccable. And this song was the highlight for me, the track I skipped ahead to when I got home. Got to talk with OJ (greybeard), he would love that you see the Opeth in this… Disappointing that no one’s catching this reaction!, KZbin didn’t even tell me about it til two months after you dropped it, and I’m known to comment/request this band/song 🤷‍♂️
