Hi CV. The video with 8.5M views is the correct one, the complete video where he walks up to Marna the singer and scares her, bantering. Please use a lighter filter, we can hardly see Elvis move. Thanks.

Let's not forget the backbone of the entire group, drummer Ronnie Tutt! The communication between him and Elvis was vital to the pace and changes in the songs. Elvis' hand and arm movements helped dictate what was happening with the rhythm section. The orchestra and singers backed the main band up to perfection.

Tutt said he felt like it was drumming for a stripper. Elvis agreed. Elvis would have to keep up with his beat, and sometimes tutt had to speed up to match Elvis hips. This is the way Elvis always danced. This is why he was banned from waist up on t.v in 1956 thru 69

I was alive during Elvis years. When he died it is of those moments when you remember exactly where you were and the world mourned. But I didn’t really pay attention to Elvis’ music. I watched the Aloha show when broadcasted, but didn’t fall into the Elvis rabbit hole until Baz’s “Elvis” movie. Now I’m so mad at myself for not getting it. I could have seen him in Vegas! I don't remember in which documentary (if I'm not wrong it was "Elvis by the Presley") Jerry Schilling said that the version of Suspicious Minds released as a master was not the one chosen and approved by Elvis. It seems that the Colonel managed to get it changed by asking RCA to bring Elvis's voice to the fore by lowering the backup vocals. When Elvis first heard the song on the radio, he got very angry because it wasn't what he wanted. I always wonder what the final version would have been like without the Colonel's manipulations.

He had fun no matter what. His sense of humor was amazing. Please listen to the audio titled “Elvis Can’t Stop Laughing.” He was in Vegas and changed the words to the song and he started laughing and couldn’t stop. His backup singer didn’t miss a beat which caused him to lose it that much more. They were going to cut it but it was released anyway. I have tears from laughing everyone I hear it. Please pleas react to it. You will have all other reactors picking it up. It is priceless 🙏

*TRIVIA :* _At the end of the video when Elvis disappears in the dark, he returns wearing a different Jump Suit. Most people do not catch it. The reason for the costume swap is simple. Elvis did two shows a day in Vegas. When they edited the two shows, some how the two endings got swapped. By the time it was figured out, the video's had been released so changing it was out of the question._

I am ALWAYS telling reactors never to avert their eyes as Elvis did many versions of his songs, each time it was different & because he never did the same thing 2ce, never repeated himself & they've got to keep their eyes on him; another mistake some reactors make is that they end the video too soon, sometimes missing his ending -- always wait until the screen goes completely black.

What a fun reaction. Check out a slightly more serious song Bridge Over Troubled Water that he does from the same 1970 Vegas show. And I've actually seen behind the scenes footage where they work their asses off as Elvis just slowly starts to arrange it. That's what a lot of people don't appreciate it is that he was a fantastic arranger. And then all the sudden they do it live and it's mind-blowing.

He was a human being that knew how to connect with people in deeply emotional ways-even the connection he had with all of his musicians-I heard a reporter who covered bands say he had never seen such a connection between a performer and his band and his fans-he said it created magic.

Hello @CVTECK1, new subscriber here, I've been watching your reactions to Elvis tonight ( great reactions ) when you say he made you cry, I'm sure it was when he did 'In The Ghetto' I saw your emotions when you were remembering being shot ( it was not hard to see your pain of not only being shot but also for the unguided boy who ruined his own life that night ) but as you go on your Elvis journey, you'll come to the last concert he ever did where he sings 'unchained melody' and although he had gained much weight, and his health was failing greatly, he still hit that last high note in the song, looked at the audience with that grin on his face, sparkle in his eyes, you'll cry, because like those of us who watched that concert, some how in our hearts we knew it would be the last time Elvis would ever perform...I am 65 years of age, have listened to and loved Elvis my entire life, many of his songs make me cry, but unchained melody in his last concert to this day breaks my heart...God Bless you... Thanks much for a great reaction. I grew up on Elvis. My mother was a big fan of his & she played his music all of the time; and, whenever a new Elvis movie would come to the 'big screen,' I always went to see it, bought his records when they came out and hoped the day would come when I'd get to see Elvis perform in concert. I never was able to make it to one of them so I very much appreciate the You Tube reactors for reacting to Elvis videos. "Suspicious Minds" was my oldest brother's favorite Elvis song. He was also a big fan; wore his hair 'greaser style' like Elvis did, grew out his sideburns, wore similar clothing (not the flashy ones Elvis wore on stage but otherwise he thought it was 'cool' to wear pink shirts, mix up stripes with other patterns, etc. Elvis had a huge influence on our culture; my brother most definitely was not alone in emulating him. I still remember the day Elvis died as if it were yesterday; it was awful. The media coverage of his passing was non-stop and a bunch of specials were done on the various networks the likes of which I'd not seen other than when President Kennedy, MLK, Bobby Kennedy & Malcolm X were killed. Elvis and his joyful personality, his generosity and his music made the turbulent days of the 60's and 70's a bit easier to deal with. The Vietnam War divided the country in two; daily we were barraged with footage of our young men in the fields of Vietnam (camera men were literally embedded with the soldiers back then;) the fires burning, dead bodies in the streets including our guys and the daily footage of young men being put in body bags and then later their flag-draped coffins being loaded onto planes to bring them back home. Black people who were protesting for their Civil Rights were beaten by the police & they'd hose them with the type of powerful hoses that firemen use. Students had huge protests in the streets as well as gays protesting for their rights, women were protesting for equal treatment; the country was in such upheaval. So as you stated, for just a few moments of watching and listening to Elvis sing you could get your mind off of the horrible treatment of our fellow citizens on our streets & the carnage of the War. Elvis Presley was one of the few constants in our lives & it truly was a matter of growing up 'with him.' And the memories; in my mind's eye, I can still see my big brother applying a glop of Butch hair wax in his hair and oh so carefully work on his hair until he had it slicked back just the way that Elvis did. It's been 17 years since my brother died at age 53 of a brain tumor. He lived life to the fullest & that included going to the local dance hall where teens could dance the night away & take their minds off of their troubles. I can't help but smile every time I watch & hear Elvis sing "Suspicious Minds." Thanks again for all that you do to keep the videos coming; I used to spend quite a bit of time making music montages & putting them up on You Tube so I know it takes time and effort on your part. Hats off to you.

We had to wait for an album to come out and maybe a concert or maybe show up on some variety show on television. So much has changed in the way that we can assess Talent like Elvis. And by the way there are no entertainers like elvis. There are many talented people out there but nothing compares to what Elvis did or the way he made you feel

I didn't grow up with Elvis in real time. But I've loved Elvis with all my heart since I was 8 years old. He's a huge part of my life. And walking into my home you see Elvis everywhere. The King forever ❤

He's different, and for me it's the way I just connect with him when he sings. So your house is a museum for Elvis 😁 I just got my son a record player and first vinyl we got was Elvis Christmas vinyl can't wait to listen to it.

My dream was to go to Vegas to see him on one of the UK fanclub's annual trips but I was only a young teenager and he died before I could - cried for two days ❤

Did you know in his early career they would only film him above the waist because of how he moved his hips?

I was a sophomore in high school when Elvis passed away. I remember watching the Aloha from Hawaii live on TV in 1973. You need to watch the whole show.

The actor Austin Butler played the part of Elvis in the recent Elvis movie, & he studied Elvis & his dance moves meticulously to honour & respect Elvis. In the movie, Austin performed this song & dance, copying it exactly, with some of Elvis’ singing cut in. So you are now watching the original Elvis performance in Las Vegas in 1970.

Elvis was really funny, when he laughed you laughed. I was 1 year old when he died so he was still shown on TV while i was little. I've watched him for 48 years and loved him since I can remember. I can't believe there are people who don't know or don't care about who Elvis was or stood for. He was the whole package, talent, humility and looks 🔥🔥 he was a gospel singer, and could sing anything and touch your soul with it. Polk Salad Annie, Steamroller Blues and Marie's Her Name!!

Thank God for KZbin. I watched this on dvd in 2005 after my wife left me. I was so devastated at the time. This concert helped me through those times. I'd had no one to geek out to Elvis with. No one I knew cared to listen to Elvis. I was floored by how good he was. Thankfully, for KZbin, im not alone anymore in my love for EP.
