May sound sacrilegious to say, but in my opinion, some music in the game is better than in the films even! I remember several occasions where I just stood there, doing nothing for minutes, just letting the music wrap around me and draw me fully into the experience.

@@OmarioRpg The music gets better as you progress in the story, especially in the Jedi Knight and Sith Warrior playthroughs,with the KOTFE and KOTET expansions getting brand new tracks for the game that are different than the ones from the first 50 lvls. They do an incredible job blending in the movie tracks from Episodes 1-6, though I think it's mostly the prequel tracks used, with the new ones. The big boss fight missions and flashpoints are the best place to hear them.

In the game KOTOR, there were two main characters: Revan and Bastilla Shan. After the events of KOTOR, they get married. They were the two most powerful Jedi of their time. 300 years later, their granddaughter, Satele Shan, sits as the Grandmaster of the Jedi Order. In both the first and second trailers, you saw her. You asked how powerful she was after the second vid. If you knew the story of Revan (or if you already know), then you would understand why and how she is so powerful. My first class was Jedi Sentinel. I have completed all eight classes, making all of my characters legendary. I have been playing for almost 11 years, and the graphics and storyline, as well as the music, have only advanced and increased. I hope the game continues for another 20 years.

Trailers 1-3 are amazing but 4 & 5 just hit me different. Can't wait for you to meet my favorite villain in all of Star Wars, the father of the three children! He is as cunning as Thrawn and as insidious as Palatine. Yet , he is ruthless, like Vader, and is somehow charming and somewhat relatable. And more over, his motives are more than (although do include ) that of the typical villain we know and has character development. And those are just his character, yet alone his powers and actions. *Also, his theme/ the eternal empire throne theme has got to be the best , most epic theme I have ever heard from the StarWars franchise. Even before knowing the character.* (Fanboying over.)

I've been playing SWTOR for years with shorter and longer breaks and i've gotta say there's nothing more power-fantasy-like than Sith Warrior and Sith Inquisitor storylines. It's just that the creators made absolutely sure that we can actually feel our rise to power and our overall importance and authority in those stories. Like, every weakling is bowing to you, calling you a Lord, being fearful of you and you can still just decide to massacre them in most instances, BECAUSE YOU CAN. And if they belittle you, the story makes sure you enjoy showing them it was a mistake. There is a big expansion coming out in fabruary which will continue the story and bring some changes to the gameplay - can't wait to once again jump into SWTOR when it's released.

the girl in the videos is Satele Shan, she is a descendant of Revan and in the first part she is a padawan, in the second she is now the Jedi Grandmaster who you'd deal with in-game on the republic side if you play a Jedi. The Dark Lord is Malgus and in this time there are thousands of Darths, Sith Lords, and Sith Acolytes. the game is fun and it's mostly all vocal and you can play every class and make multiple characters. I played it for years. I think the Sorceror is the best storyline on the Darkside line, The Jedi Knight is the best on the republic side. The newer trailers are of the addition of a new empire that invades the galaxy and ways waist to both Empire and Republic. The twins are both bad to them they are not dark or light it's all one force. and Their father is the eternal Emperor who ruled over the sith empire for 1000 years.

My first character was was Imperial Agent bc I came from WoW, so I wanted to play equivalent to Horde. Playing Empire is different from Horde for sure, especially because you have different play experiences if you are a non-Force user character. So if you play SWTOR, pick a non-Force user and a Force user as your two entry characters! I did an Imperial Sniper as my first and then Sith Inquisitor as my second - also good because that class can stealth. I found the Empire stories actually more interesting, and to have more deviation between light/neutral/dark choices. It makes more sense as well if you want to have your character "defect" from the Empire than go the other way around.

I never noticed this until right now but when Darach kills Vindican his green blade is in his right hand, then when he kills him it is in his left hand. Ive watched this so many times and never noticed his blades swap hands. When he force pushes them both away his green blade is in his right hand. Then when he kills him his blue blade is back in his right hand.

This game ate my soul for like 2 1/2 years. I bought the $150 Collector's Edition that came with the soundtrack, the statue of Darth Malgus, and all the other cool stuff. I got all 8 classes level 50 and all companions to 10k affection. I did all the raids for the base game and the first expansion and absolutely loved it. My main was a Jedi Shadow tank, but the best story to me will always be Imperial Agent. It's the perfect balance of personal and galaxy spanning. Plus, being a Chiss Sniper was just a dream. The Jedi Knight campaign could sort of be considered KOTOR 3, in my opinion. It had the same feel as the two KOTOR games and you really feel like you're a true hero of the Jedi and the Republic. Or a villain if you decide to go Dark. I did. It was a blast. :D The first three trailers you watched were reverse release order. Betrayal (the one on Coruscant) was the first major trailer they released and I can't tell you how fucking pumped I was. It was just incredible. I've logged back in over the years because it's still a great game and the 1-50, three act story is fully voiced and was just an incredible experience.

I don't know if you've already figured things out, but the aging man in trailer 4-5 was Emperor Valkorion, the boys are the twin Princes Arcann and Thexan, and the girl is Princess Vaylin. While the boys courted war, Vaylin's power in the Force was unstable. The mother, Senya who was the Emperor's bodyguard at the time was one of the Knights of the Empire of Zakuul pleaded for a solution to Vaylin's problem and the Emperor's solution was to shackle her powers through insidious mind control. On Zakuul, the Force is in balance, and the Zakuulans do not see the Force as Light and Dark, instead use it as a weapon of justice. That being said, the Empire of Zakuul is not affiliated with the Republic nor the Empire - as you could see in the trailers, Zakuul was immensely powerful. So powerful they were able to subjugate both factions at the same time. There is a reason for this of course, but telling would be spoilers.

If only Disney went and made movies about the old republic. I kinda don’t want that however because the old republic is a much more dark and very serious not kiddy and knowing Disney’s they would ruin it. I would want movies of this timeline to be very much more for adults specifically because that’s how I think the old republic could be made as good as it can get without being forced to change things for children. They should be serious, dark, realistic (for Star Wars) , and not try to take anything from the sequel or prequel (except the lightsaber combat from the prequels)

I started the game, when it was launched. The first character was an imperial female inquisitor as a sorcerer or witch. I still ot and play her, after 10 years :) I dont know if anyone said it, but many people feel frustrated when they log into the game for the first time after the cinematics, because the game is more in a "comic style" animation. But thats on purpose. When RDR2 was released, Bioware wrote in a patchnote something like "We know, the game isnt photo-realistic. We could do it, but we chose not to, because with the "lower" animation, players dont have to by new hardware every other year" It was cool to know, that they are aware of "problems" like that and tell you why. R* dosnt comunicate at all .....

I loved playing this game, I played thru every story on both sides, the stories are all fun for each of the classes, but my favorite class for republic was trooper, and for empire it was with sorcerer. I wish they would have made some of the star wars movies in the art style of these trailers. (Also just a warning the gameplay art style never even gets close to the cinematics, just trying to temper expectations)

I've been playing on and off since release, I like all classes but I do have two favourite stories per faction. On the Republic side I really enjoyed the Smuggler and Jedi Consular and on the Imperial side I absolutely love IMperial Agent and Sith Warrior, to me these last two are the best in the whole game.

@@OmarioRpg They were released out of order, first was Deceived, then Hope, then Return. We thought Hope is about Republic getting back into fight after losing Coruscant. The voice overs are really fantastic at setting the tone. These new ones are mustache twirling member of group of villain and hardened badass. Originals were passionate driven INDIVIDUAL who happens to be a part of a group and someone who has a reason to fight, something to believe in. I really think you should look them up and compare, might be interesting reaction.

Been playing since beta, a lot of people enjoy the agent story as being the best but I've always enjoyed the Knight story if only because it's the quintessential Star Wars experience. And I absolutely love the Sith Warrior Storyline, especially if you take a specific path thought the story. My least favorite was Bounty Hunter.

My first, and most played class is the Sith warrior. I like the marauder combat myself, but most prefer juggernaut. both classes are good in my opinion If you want to learn how the Sith order's politics function play Sith inquisitor. Both Assassin & sorcerer class are excellent. Bounty hunter is kinda boring in my opinion, and Imperial agent is one hell of a ride. Agent may even... nope! Not gonna spoil any of it. Advanced classes are Sniper & Operative. I'd strongly recommend Operative. Jedi knight and agent are both the best stories, knight is arguably the better story, but that's an opinion. then we have the trooper campaign, a pretty good story with some good incite on how the Republic functions. Then we have Smuggler. Which has a lot of hilarious dialog and is a pretty fun class to play. Definitely go with scoundrel. In my opinion Gunslinger isn't very good, but that's my opinion. Then we have Jedi consular which is in my opinion, and the general opinion of the community, the most boring story. I can't really say which class is my favorite. I like inquisitor sorcerer/assassin and have beat that campaign twice. Sith warrior/Jedi knight both are great and I use to bounce between the two of them a lot before I retired. The first 3 trailers are old and the other 2 were released years later for the new story expectations Knights Of the Eternal Throne & Knights of The Fallen Empire. unless you opt to skip the old stuff to get to KOTET & KOTFE It will take you a long time to get there. DON'T SKIP THE ORIGINAL CONTENT! You will be lost, you will not know how to use you class properly, Trust me don't. Sorry if this was a bit long. Let me know that you pick! I'm quite curious. P.S. I don't want Old Republic movies. Disney can't handle the old republic! They will ruin it.

For me the best story is definitely the Imperial Agent. Since it has sort of multiple endings your choices matter even more than in the other classes. There is just something awesome about playing a space spy and the voice actor of the male agent is just so damn good. Right now I'm playing through my fifth agent and it's still so much fun.

With Jedi Knight you actively work against the Sith(not spoiling specific Sith Lords) while with Sith Warrior you not only work against the Republic, but also(not spoiling) certain Sith

I have played Jedi Fallen Order on Steam. I got it for my birthday in 2020, and played it through five times. I think it's a great action-melee game. I have also played Battlefront(also on Steam) as well, which I got for Christmas 2020. I think it's good for a FPS, but not great. I don't play it anymore though. I played The Old Republic last year(2021) spring to summer. I played a Jedi Knight, and I got a bit frustrated with the combat system, and the limited Force powers. I decided to quit after about 30 hours in, so I never got any further than level 10, and I decided it wasn't worth my time. But, now after playing Cyberpunk 2077 on Steam, I have found a new appreciation for RPGs. I wish I had stuck with The Old Republic a little longer. I never got see to what happened with my Jedi. I really like it that you watched the trailers for this video before you played the game. I had never seen these trailers, until I got the game, and I watched them from the character menu. I hope you had more fun than I did. I think I'm going to give it another chance.

I played a Jedi Knight as my first class and found it to be quite enjoyable I think republic trooper was probably my favorite though. I've played all the unique storylines for each class though and enjoyed all of them. Bounty Hunter storyline was pretty good to.

Tbh playing Kotor could add a lot to swtor play value as its one of the best stories star wars has to offer and you will not only understand one more from swtor story itself but you will be simple pumped up learning who some characters are ;) I do play swtor and my original/main is jedi consular, double orange lightsaber is the sh*t! Game wise Kotor and BFII (2005) are still my fav games overall Story wise though im 100% light side guy, easly my fav story goes to Darth Bane, with Zannah, how he got to his power and destroyed Siths.. its just amazing

a year late but i started swtor when it was first released. i still play it. played it yesterday as a matter of fact. up to lvl 50 all the class stories are connected in one way or another so if youre that interested its best to play one of each just for the whole story. after lvl 50 the story changes so you dont need to play more than one if you dont want to. all the classes are fun. but the bounty hunter is the most fun. not just saying that because you said you wanted to play it. pretty much everyone agrees the bounty hunter story is the best. but everyone agrees the agent ship is the best. but the gunslinger ship is just...well youll see. if you havent already.

My first and favorite class is the sith juggernaut and i think you should go as that class too. I also love the gun slinger who is like the han solo guy in the first trailer.

Im a mega nerd and something i just noticed after you pointed out the obvious in black and white attire, yet representing the oposite vs what one expects. The white kid killed jedi The black sith Further showing that Thexan was "good" and vexan "evil"

The thing is you actually need at least 64 characters.... (SWTOR is an Alt-aholic paradise)... You play all of the classes both as a male and a female both as light side and as dark side, and each advanced class To experience the entire story, and as a side benefit your Legacy will now be fully fleshed out and all of your characters can create a self sustaining economy of crafting ALL professions.

First class: Inquisitor into Assassin Most enjoyable class: Tie between Smuggler into Gunsliger or Bounty Hunter into Pyrotech

I played SWTOR when it first came out, starting as a Sith Inquisitor Tank because...well obvious reasons. :D But then I switched to the Imperial Agent when going into the endgame and loooooved it even more. Unfortunately the game's endgame at the time was not good at all. The existing stuff was great fun, but in the end....the release seemed to early. BUUUUUUUUTTTT to this day I have incredibly fond memories of the game, and and I'm still sad I didn't play it more back in the day. It really felt like Star Wars and I loved every minute of it. Especially in the sequel era, where everything else in the Star Wars universe looks far superior to the movies, my nerves are tingling to try SWTOR again.

Good news, as you may have figured out by now, you can be ALLLLL the classes! 1st class - sith assassin.... played every class. Best stories for me, sith warrior, assassin and Agent....

Great reactions. Yes, they have the Best cinematics I have seen. Deep and engaging, sad Hollywood did not take note of them and put out the absuloot cr*P they have been. I was part of the first beta testers, was so excited for the launch and played it for a while but then they began making changes and it went Pay to play and we lost the uniqueness of real customizable companions. The player base began to get more Toxic and I just lost interest.

Are you enjoying the game so far? I’ve only played the Jedi knight storyline so you’ll have to lmk how the others are. Also, definitely play KOTOR, literally my favorite Star Wars game of all time. The combat style and graphics take some getting used to, but the story is incredible.

My first character and 50 at launch was sith marauder. I loved the sith warrior story. But hands down, imperial agent has the best story. Play republic trooper as a female if you want to be fem shepherd (same VA) Edit: yeah I know this is 3 months old lol
