All my fraternity brothers, including me, were in love with Nancy Wilson. That outfit!😅
@kemarieblack373011 ай бұрын
These are some of the most talented women of all time. It's sickening that the record company thought that Ann Wilson was "too heavy" for this video. That is why all of the body shots are of Nancy and the band and Ann is always in the shadows and wearing black. They only agreed to do tight shots of her face.
@monaco88589 ай бұрын
The idea of someone, a label, or business trying to control a person's body is disgusting. The Padres Baseball team, once told Tony Gwynn, to slim down although he was hitting above .300 average which is greatness for baseball and then his performance suffered to do the stress put on him. Weeks later after sucking balls, the Padres recanted to Tony and said live as you please and his hitting became historic again. These controlling morons no nothing.

It was a shame what they did to Ann, but she and her sister are a pair of the biggest rock gods of all time and the fans always had her back and love.

One of there best songs i got to see them perform this what a band
This song verifies an often overlooked fact; Nancy can sing too! In fact, their first big hit on the charts, "These Dreams", featured Nancy Wilson, not Ann, as the lead vocalist. The focus over the years on Ann's powerful vocals has often tended to downplay the awesome abilities and contributions of "the other sister", Nancy. She's one hell of a guitar player too.
@donkraemer5011 ай бұрын
Nancy had a cold or flu when she recorded These Dreams. That actually made the song even better. Gave it a raspiness that sounded more emotional.

Easily One of my favorite Live bands. Heart is phenominal in Concert. I've seen them 5x in Colorado USA. Ann Wilson's voice can shatter glass, she's magnificent. Love ❤️

Heart has always been my fav band, Ann Wilson is simply a wonderful singer and her Sister Nancy is great as well. If you get the chance you should try some of their less well known songs. They did some really great stuff that never really got popularized. White Lightning and Wine off their first album Dream Boat Annie is a great song!
@MiguelLopez-is9te7 ай бұрын
Such a great song. Ann Wilson's vocals at their best. The guitar solo is actually played by Howard Leese. The guy Nancy kisses in the video. Howard is an original core member of Heart. He and Nancy were brought into the band in 1974. He left in 1996 and remain close friends with Ann & Nancy.

As a punk teen when this came out, I did it a disservice: pop production, with hair metal vibes: I simply ignored it. These days, I'm floored by the talent, from top-to-bottom, it takes to make a song like this... incredible, incredible vocal performance, great song writing, and some super-clever, confident, if not brash choices in starting a vocal-less chorus and outro

To enjoy the Christmas season you should check out Heart's Christmas album. Heart A Lovemongers' Christmas. My personal favorite songs from that album are Here is Christmas and How Beautiful. As for other songs to check out from Heart you should listen to Dog and Butterfly and Crazy on You. That's some of their old school stuff. Something more recent would be Red Velvet Car.

Heart had a few albums in the early 80s that failed. People saod they were done. Over. This was their do or die moment to prove they still had it. Also this album came out in wjat many argue was the best year ever for music. You had a new number one almost every other week. So they were up against some major competition. They had to do something great. They did mlre than great, they absolutely crushed it. I rank this as a Top 5 song of the 80s.
