Do you think they are spawning in the scioto now? We were on the Ohio over the weekend and caught a few. Mostly small ones. I think the big ones are on the beds.

Yea I’d say they are I heard there was a early spawn this year for them I’m not to sure though but that big flathead in this video had a fresh cut on its head and one on the tail so I’d say it been spawning and just got done or was working on it

Oh man these fish around this time of the year when they spawn I’ve seen em in really rough shape from laying in structure wether it’s logs or big rocks u can’t hurt anymore then they don’t hurt there selfs during spawn unless u eat and I don’t keep or eat any fish out of the rivers myself

It’s a peace of foam board I clip it to my line cause that black max reel doesn’t have a clicker it lets me know when I’m getting a bite works really well if u don’t have a clicker
