Nice demo. Love how we can catch carp on flavourless foam, yet bait companies insist their amino acid loaded boilies are the key.
@Francois_Dupont3 жыл бұрын
sure taste and "smell" help the video locate and bite your bait, but fish still have eyes and if they discover something interesting they will try to eat it regardless. for example catfish dont use their eyes very much, so anything that doesnt smell wont work so good.

Another really great video guys, a lot of people are scared of fishing Zigs but they shouldnt be. Carp spend a lot of time off the bottom especially at this time of year so a zig could catch you a lot of fish, gove them a try 👍

Hi guys, what is the reason behind using a zig line? Could a common line/mono do the trick too?
@darrenmahoney81063 жыл бұрын
Tackle companies trying to make extra wedge. Just use a fine mono. I use 10 pound 2xl mono. Works great
@adamdosoudil4163 жыл бұрын
@@darrenmahoney8106 I'll give that a go! Thanks!
@fishingtutorials3 жыл бұрын
Hey Adam, zig line or dedicated floater line is made to be lighter and more transparent than traditional mainlines. Standard mainlines are normally designed to sink quickly and blend in with the lakebed, floater or zig lines float more easily. :)

I've never caught using a zig rig before other than keeping a piece of bread floating in one place on a breezy day. I really struggle with the idea of using a piece of foam as bait...but carp anglers insist it does work...
@Pwrcritter4 ай бұрын
Is zig line similar to fluro?
@fishingtutorials4 ай бұрын
Fluro is heavy, so can drag your bait down. Zig line is basically a neutrally buoyant, pre-stretched low diameter mono. :)

@@t3angling575 You literally said "Why do you guys leave Nash and go with Korda?"...you aren't making any sense.
@t3angling5753 жыл бұрын
@@northbaseuk882talk about not making sense. Do you not understand the difference between a question and a statement? Let me help you out. Here is a statement "You guys left Nash and went with Korda." Here is a question "Why did you guys leave Nash and go with Korda?" Big difference! I said "do" instead of "did", and did not catch that error on my original comment. Again, the word "Why", along with the "?", denotes someone asking a question. People ask questions when something changes and they do not know what happened, or they are simply curious. Thus, my asking a question. It is pretty darned simple.
