Hey Patrick! Another great video. I think the thing that bothers me is that they took the Magna platform and retrofitted it with outdated modules just to save money and call it their own. That means older hardware which is probably tougher to program in the software because it can’t do all the newer things the original platform with latest hardware can do. It’s like trying to get a new Windows 11 feature to work on Windows 98. Hopefully another company will come along, buy them out, and get the software in a better place. Here’s keeping my fingers crossed 🤞 😊

Yesterday my girlfriend also drove it and I had her car and we passed trough each other on the road and I thougth dam what a cool car is that till she came closer and I just realized she was it and its our Fisker Ocean so still so cool desinged.

The question is why any company would buy Fisker now and assume over a billion in debt. when they could wait and purchase the IP assets for far less and without debt?

@@gentlemensworld Thanks for the detailed response. A bit of respectful pushback if I may: A. Strategic Fit..."services, technologies or market presence"...I don't see Fisker having much in the first two and their market presence has been a disaster. Also, can't see how the IP would cost more after BK. B. Cost Savings...my research on BK filings shows just the opposite but I could be wrong in this case. C. Protecting Market Share...sorry but Fisker's share is miniscule. 6000 vehicles spread over the US and Europe is nothing. Adding Fisker to say Tata or Stelantis or you name the firm, will not significantly affect market share. D. Access to Talent...agree on this point. Grab them early before they find employment elsewhere. E. Vertical Integration.... Fisker's weakness was the lack of VI. Those outsourced suppliers will be there two months before BK or two months afterwards. F. Avoiding Competition...There is no feeding frenzy for Fisker. Nissan passed up an opportunity earlier. Companies signing NDAs just allows them to see behind the curtains. Not necessarily even making an offer. G. Brand Value...OMG, this is a tarnished brand to be sure. Fisker is largely seen as dead man walking. BK won't affect that status much before or after. As someone who owns two EVs and will never go back to ICE, I hope Fisker is acquired, and employees keep their jobs. Death of any EV start-up slows the transition. Such a beautiful design with weak management. Shame really.

Thanks for the really good feedback here and you right. I just happen not to be in the position to buy the company and also not been to significant invested. Sold the biggest portion of my shares when I bought the one and payed the 5k this been payed out of Fisker stocks during that time. Also the other points are super valid I also don´t like to see the EV´s going down again I like to drive it every day and also the cost around super low..

That´s a very good question and I can just say what I do due to the fact anybody needs to decided by his own with his finacial investments. Anyhow technicaly the stocks will decline normally when chapter11 will take place, anyhow we don´t know yet if this happen or when. Could be that investors stepping in the stocks go up again. If chapter11 is applied from Fisker I would say the stocks will go down and could be if the succeding restructuring the company go up again. Due to the fakt I bought with around 1,2 Dollar and not having to much investeded I´ll keep my worthless portion the transaction fee would eat anyhow the rest of my investment...

FSRN. Fisker..Up 165 % month ..Now 18 dealerships with 12 in Europe and 6 in USA .. Revenue increasing with late April Ocean deliveries growing from discount prices models. Partnership, Buyout or Cash infusion credit line without dilution or financing with share issuance which brings dilution. Maybe Fisker is only interested in selling the co.? Very good comment I also have the feeling and also what we can see out of the reports that Fisker looks really hard forward selling the company and finding new investors. Was also interessted to see the deeper partnership with Magna what makes also totally sense for booth sides since Magna stopped or lowered there production in Graz from 2 shifts to 2 shifts and finally also stopped for a while. They need also there factory to run and are also interessted that the show goes on I think the help here as well.
