I never see any so called ‘healthy’ meals made with whole wheat or whole grain pasta or breads- I’m not sure why you all use pastas & breads that are not made with whole grain

I personally can’t eat gluten and that’s why I can’t use whole wheat pasta😭 I like to use lentil/chickpea pasta often instead of regular gluten-free pasta, because it’s high in protein and a great source of fiber☺️

Lentils are legumes, not grains, but they have somewhat similar properties because they are low-glycemic carbs and have lots of fiber. As a nice bonus they also have more protein and more anti-inflammatory properties. So for carbs I prefer to go for legume products instead of whole grains because of all the added benefits.
