I had a set of Koing lace 18x8 on my Tib and they where fine for years with 215/45 proxies but I slapped on some 235/45 winter tires and there is maybe 1 milometer of space between the struts and tires, got a bit of rub lol. I def went too big but it looks mean

Cosmis Racing MRII with a +22 offset do not fit on a GT86 at all. You will rub like a mother and have no turning ability

I had a white 94 tercel as my first car in high school. Full tinted including full windshield, cat back exhaust, lowering springs, "cold air" intake, and bronze rota c8's. And 3 mtx 10s in the trunk because high school lol. I loved that car though! I'd love to buy another as a toy

That whole different tire compounds create different dimensions even if the measurements on the tire are the “same” AND they aren’t the same and now I’m working on getting 3 mm spacers because I need a mm or 2 room (stock 2011 wrx wheels on an 2009). Before you say “it shouldn’t create a problem”, it somehow did lol.

I like stock-ish offset, but larger diameter and wider as well. This means that the scrub radius is not affected much, or not affected at all if the stock offset is kept.

I bought some American racing wheels for my truck. I thought I did all the measurements, did all the research needed, even bought a wheel fitment tool and everything. Put them on and they were sunk in and hit the shocks. So upset because I forgot to factor in the back spacing at check out. I got some half inch spacers to fix it though. They look great now. It's always that 1 dimension that you forget that screws up everything. There are so many number to consider that it's easy to miss one and have buyer's remorse later.

One thing I'll never do again is buy used. Bought 3 different used sets over my lifetime and all had issues. Rims warped / bent, wont balance etc. Only new for me now on.

Wv mk1 - 145/40/15 wheels, c notch the front and add extended spacers plus grind a bit off the control arm cover or protective plate lol whatever u wanna call it😩... Add drop plates at the back and fit some coilovers(do this first) and remove the helper springs and u will see that ur static will look like air and the wheels will sit in the arch and have some beautiful fitment lol this is how we do it in South Africa 👌🏽✊🏽

My advice if you care to hear it. If the max offset you think you can fit is 18x9 +35 for example get +40 or +45 then get wheel spacers to dial in the fitment. A 100$ set of wheel spacers hurts your wallet alot less then wheels that are just to wide. If they aren't wide enough you can fix that, if they are to wide your in trouble.

Tire size is easy - find out factory tire round per minute then recommend size range for your wheels and get the recommended size with similar round per minute. Your speedometer will be accurate too

My wheel fitment is good considering I bought them off Facebook with no information haha the tyres that came on them though look terrible. I'm at stock height on 17inch (16inch are standard) wheels and stretched tyres just no. The arch gap is disgusting!! But I'm too cheap to replace the tyres because they're almost new 😂

Putting 19x9.5 +22 225/40 on my camry and not expecting to have to run more than 2° camber to get proper fitment in relationship to ride height. So now they sit in the shop until I sell them. Do your homework boys and girls. Get that sh*t right.
