Ride Quality was definitely improved, the ride is less harsh while going over bumps in the road, steering feels sharper as well. Wedssport SA-25R 18x7

10 lbs of unsprung weight removed from each corner is massive. The car will be a lot more fun to drive!

Look sick bro. I wanna get a carbon hood from kodo boomer. Those friken bonnets must weigh 40kgs on their own
@supermazda34 ай бұрын
I believe they are actually way less than 20kg for a stock hood

Other than the 4th Gen HB on the Wedssport website, you're the only other person I know with the SA-25r on our platform

you could do some adjustable bucket seats, i have a 2013 mazda 3 HB skyactiv with 181, on the odometer and was thinking of starting off with the stage 3 thorton performance ecu chip and then working my way to the supercharger, i do have my k&n filter on hand i’ve just been lazy to do it lol but i wanna do the cork sport racepipe exhaust they also have one with a catalyst but it’s not “available” here in california but dual it with the short ram intake soon i also wanna do the fuel pump and those plugs like you said, slowly but surely go down the list

I have a set of 17' rpf1 from my last car that I've been waiting to put on. Kept the oem 18's on for the first year of ownershipnto get a feel for the driving dynamics. But in a few weeks I'll be putting on the lightweights

I picked up my base mazda 3 sport today. Could you recommend a smaller size rim with a higher sidewall that I could use in the winter? I hope the fwd isn't going to be crazy bad. Thanks for the video. 👍
@supermazda34 ай бұрын
If it's a true base model, it will have 16" wheel which is perfect for winter, if you go smaller the brake calipers will hit most aftermarket wheels

@supermazda3 Its a Select Sport Hatchback with 215/45R18 tires Standard for the 2024 models. Im thinking for winter driving a smaller rim with higher sidewall all season. What do you think? 🤔

Are there any lighter aftermarket brakedisks that you can recommend?
@supermazda34 ай бұрын
I haven't looked into lighter brake disk because it will likely have worse heat dissipation

@@supermazda3 thanks for replying, are there any benefits from upgrading OEM brake disks?

Yes. Stoptech rotors and z23 pads have proven great

Perfect timing, I just picked up some Mazdaspeed x Rays forged rims for my 3rd Gen. Gonna mount them when the weather cleans up a bit. Same specs as OEM and weigh the same as rpf1s too. 🫡
