its a 51 plate td5 chris with ace sls and leeking sunroofs lol, gradually going through the service schedule would be great and mabe the known faults. but there a great truck chris, I used to have a 300 but I would never go back there basically a d1 but much better build quality and the tc is fantastic.

Hi, I notice you're not bothering with painting the radius arms or tie bars before refitting. Do they end up with underseal or wax oil, or anything, or do you leave them bare?

Hello, I have a question for you. When you tight all the nuts, is the car over the stands or it has the 4 wheels on the ground? Many thanks, great videos!

What kind of "ceramic spray" are you using when replacing the bolts (white spray)? I'm in the US, any particular brands you could recommend? Thanks for the GREAT videos! They are a HUGE help!
@trailerfitter27 жыл бұрын
Ceramic Spray. It is a TRP product. From what I understand TRP are also in the USA. If you have a Paccar truck garage (Peterbilt) near you, then they should be able to supply that range of products.

hello, can worn bushes on front radius arms cause the Death wobble? I noticed one is not looking straight when looking at it from the front there is a slight inclination on the vertical axis.
@trailerfitter24 жыл бұрын
The death wobble comes from oscillation caused at a certain speed and above. Dampers worn or hub or wheel balance out. The radius arm bushes will affect the steering handling more than anything. HTH.

@@trailerfitter2 i noticed the shock bushes are crumbled and split but shocks feel solid in place. I will try them next. Comes in at any speed or smooth road ... May not appear on bumpy sections !

+eastsaxon67 What do you have? V8 or Td5? What sort of things do you want to see? I am looking out for a D2 for my ride since we sold our Freelander yesterday so perhaps in the not too distant future you'll be seeing some tuts. I need to get on with some Electronic diagnosis coverage down. It might make some time to get the tutorials out due to budget restraints but lets see what we can do.

I have a 1999 TD5 with 169k miles on the clock, chassis is good, but I am facing wear and tear in suspension components, leaking sunroofs, and the usual electrical gremlins (remote key fob stopped working).
