Love your classes. I am just a beginner, doing yoga for about 7 months, you are very thorough and thanks for no music. Helps to focus. Please do a class to incorporate quad stretches. Thanks so much,

This was wonderful, thank you. My hammies were so tight earlier that I was walking around wobbly-kneed. Saving this to do again another time.

Thank you for this. I recently had my ACL reconstructed with a Hamstring autograft; needless to say it gets pretty tight after the daily rehab circuit. This flow helped a lot, and I will be using this video frequently :)

+Matthew Goldstein I can relate! I have had my ACL reconstructed twice - once with a hamstring and once with a patella. Yoga has been instrumental in the recovery and strength and stability of my knee. Keep it up!

Hey Erin, I have been doing yoga for a few years now and you are so right...I have been looking over-looking my hamstrings all my life apparently. It was quite painful for me at times to do the least amount of stretching you described in each pose. How often do you recommend I do this practice? Once a week perhaps, or more?

This was really, really good. Not only were the moves much needed, but the instruction provided was excellent. Though i have been doing most, if not all, of these moves for a while, I realized I was sloppy in some areas. Thank you, Erin!!

The forward fold hurts my back, is this normal if i'm tight? I try to keep my back straight but it is hurting me still. Can you give me some tips maybe?

+Voornaam Achternaam Thank you for your question. No, a forward fold should not hurt your back, even if you are tight. My number one piece of advice is to keep your knees bent during all forward folds and to keep the natural curve in your spine. With your knees bent, only go as far forward as you can without feeling any strain in your back. If you are feeling tight, be slow and gentle in your forward folds.

The straddle hurts one of my knees does that mean its just too weak for the pose?

+Yuliana Diaz I would make sure that your muscles are engaged when you are doing the stretch. And then, of course, when you feel any pain/discomfort, back out of the stretch. Go into the pose very slowly and mindfully, so you don't injure your knee.
