It is sad when Flat Earth parents force their children to think that the Earth is flat. I remember seeing a video of a Flat Earth believing woman saying that her daughter thought that the Earth was spherical and that her son thought that the Earth was flat. I was raised near the sea, and as a little child my older brother pointed, while we were standing on the beach, to the ships at sea, of which the bottom half couldn't been seen, as that half was behind the horizon, and that this was the way that we could experience the curve of the earth. @@xMouseTrapDJx Then one with the moon light you can go out and measure by yourself. 1 one is refraction, and there are models available to calculate visability, the trick is they dont account for refractions and used simplified math that is not the right one to so call prove you can see beyond the curve. The proof is find the pictures that flat earthers claim they see further than they should be able to on a globe, and you would see everytime distortion of what you see, The mountain or the oil rig or the ship is distorted in shape clearly, like you can see on tarmac on a very hot summerday. This bends light and so can curve around the curve of the earth and only happens under specific conditions hot moist conditions. This is also known as Mirages or fatamorganas. You can see the distortion in the photo and that is proof enough if you know about refraction of light. -plenty of youtubers make very clear examples of this and calculate the refractions and voila the pictures are exactly according to physics on a globe. There's a guy called Dave on youtube that is pretty good at explaining all these things. The one with van allan belt, On former moon landings this was taken into consideration, to enter the thinnest and least dangerous zones for a minimum of time and this was plotted into the route to the moon the belt is not even all around earth but has the shape of magnetic field. They were measured for radiation when they came back to earth and they had recieved radiaton equal to 46 x-rays at the dentist - not healthy but obviously not lethal. Travel time through the belt was around 60 minutes. The point with vacuum not being an expert, but I can easily see what they have discounted with the vacuum experiment - atmospheric pressure - caused by gravity, they are discounting gravity, There are things above pressing down on air molecules just as if you were under water and had a cube with nothing in it = equal no air, but just vacuum, poke a hole and water would rush in. This is the same with atmosphere where as Space is different no pressure doesnt create that effect that beats gravity. So the answer is why does the atmosphere stay - gravity, discounting it is a falsehood. Vacuum only has that effect under pressure around it. Space has about 1 atom pr. cubic centimeter almost a complete vacuum, an osmosis sort of thing would happen if no gravity existed and everything would spread out evenly. With the moon eclipse I cant even follow what hes talking about, so he would have to explain better what he thinks doesnt make sense. I see no problem in lunar eclipses. But Im sure he is discounting something in order for it not to make sense. Conclusion these bulletpoints apart from the 1st one has very little to do with the earths shape, it is just trying to not make sense of something - moon light being cold? so the earth must be flat? Vacuum no atmosphere, just trying to poke whole the current model, not creating a new one nor predicting anything. Nothing about flat earth can be proven. A globe earth can be proven.
