I had a mirimiri (Maori (cultural) massage). She said my emotions are stuck in my stomach and as she pressed on it- the pain almost made me hyperventilate. Finding this block therapy has allowed me to continue to release that pain myself. And this is day 1! It’s interesting because I had recently considered doing certain yoga poses to release the stomach pain because I had a revelation that I needed to feel the pain and not avoid it. Then your channel popped up 😅 Thankyou

Hi there! In the belly position we place the block flat on the floor horizontal to the body. We slowly come down on to the block making sure the belly button is on the center of the block. We place our forearms on the floor to support us. We will have better control of how much pressure we put into the block this way. Your head can be up or down. If your neck if feeling fatigued, you can bend the neck so that your head is down. How you hold your head is personal preference. If it feels right, you can bring your upper body down to the ground. Hope this helps. *If you have difficulty getting to the floor, or if it is too painful in the belly area to do this position on the floor, you can do it on a bed. This will lessen the pressure and you will still benefit from the position.

Neck strain from injury, I am the opposite, I am constantly in depth and do deep breathing, because of injury, disability and I am a dancer. I am too deep, and sometimes I stop breathing. I always start againg, but there is that moment you don't know if you are going to take in another breath. For me how amazing it would be balanced. Otherwise at present it triggers my vestibular system, which means cramps, contractions, constriction, restriction, hypertonicity then triggers all my other systems to go into emergency mode and shut down and not fun, and then I constantly want to cry. However there is a Bowen specialist in our town and that’s why I asked. I’m 74 now and a widow, so I will probably live out the rest of my life the way I am and wait for the new earth promised in the Bible where people will be restored back to perfection. The blind will see, the deaf will hear, the lame will leap like the stag and even the dead will awake from the dust of the earth. So I’m sure my scar tissue will be resolved then as well. In the meantime, I’m glad to know many have benefitted from your expertise. Wish it was available to many who suffer. I had seven surgeries by the time I was 40 and lived my life with the side effects. Today, I’ve learned my lesson and would never so freely listen to what doctors said was necessary. I just didn’t know to question. Now I do, and I’m healthier for going the natural route in many different situations. Keep up the good work of helping others the best you can right now, and I’ll keep up the good work of showing people in their own bibles where hope is held out for all of us. Soon, according to Bible prophecy. Hang in there everyone. Help is on the way.

Is it ok to use my foam yoga block it’s a bit higher than you’re cork block.
@Fluidisometrics3 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can use your foam yoga Block as a prop for the Belly Position. You're always in control of the amount of pressure you apply on your prop. Use your breath as your guide :)

Yes, but do it gently, on a bed or on your back putting pressure with hands - follow the breath rule! Only go as far as your body allows, don't overdo it!

Why do I get dizzy when breathing deep
@Fluidisometrics6 ай бұрын
Hi there! If you are getting dizzy you may want to slow your breath. You want to breathe diaphragmatically. This is where you breathe into the belly versus the upper chest. Inhale through the nose and allow your belly to expand, then exhale through the nose and contract the belly. Do this until you are used to the action of breathing into the belly.

interested in your program. went to the website and the difference between the two starter packages was $100. the only add on was the baby block. you are charging 100$ for a bamboo yoga block? thats such a huge turnoff, despite the promising information.

@Fluidisometrics2 жыл бұрын
Hi there. Our Block is not a yoga block, it is very specific to our program and is designed to fit comfortably and safely in the body. Our Starter Package comes with our Starter Program which teaches you how to use the Block, and it also comes with a 14 day free trial to our membership. We have monthly classes that are available to anyone who has a Starter Program before they are added to our membership as well.

I am using my block, am I correct in thinking it will thin down old thick surgical scarring ?
@Fluidisometrics Жыл бұрын
Hi, yes, over time the Block can help break down scars. However, for more effective work, using your hands in the area will detangle the fascia in a different way. Are you in the Membership? There are classes in the Posture and Added Video section of the Membership that teach Fluid Isometrics with your hands. This may be useful for you do add to your routine of fascia care. I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

are u sure this isnt bad for ur internal organs? how does this work? i dont get it!
@Fluidisometrics11 ай бұрын
Hi there! This is not bad for the internal organs. By using your breath as your guide you won't hurt yourself. For some people this may be too intense, but there are ways to lessen the intensity if needed, eg. do the work on a soft surface like a bed, or stay up on your forearms, or simply breathing into the floor with no prop (towel or block). I am just getting into this type decompression therapy. Where do you put the block above the belly button, in the middle of the belly button, below the rib cage, on the stomach it self? Anyone can answer if you know. And I assume first thing in the morning before any meal and how often do you do this during the day and week?
@Fluidisometrics Жыл бұрын
Hi there, great question! We always start Blocking in the belly. You can place the Block (or towel) directly over the belly button, while breathing diaphragmatically. Remain here for a minimum of three minutes. After this, feel free to move the tool around the area to dive a little bit deeper! There is no "wrong" place to work. I hope this helps!

@@kathymcconnell4556 research further on Block Therapy and Fascia by Deanna Hansen. There is much to it. Breath, releasing fascia, which in turn may release tension in the body, as well as actual muscle tension and even emotions. This can help align the entire body.

So I have two inguinal hernias. Is it okay to perform this move? Thanks in advance!
@Fluidisometrics Жыл бұрын
It might increase pressure on them while in position. You could try placing the towel on the hernias so they don't balloon out. Removing the abdominal adhesions help decrease the pressure into the hernia. Try it on a bed or try it from lying on your back and hold the towel against your belly to breathe.

@ylvaeriksson4042 Жыл бұрын
I am also working with trauma (and postCovid). I tried this exercise for 3 breaths and I think we who have trauma in our bodies could not jump straight into doing 3 minutes. We need to understand that our bodies are protecting us by not letting us breath fully. I experienced releasing too much trauma at once and I got so much anxiety so I could not breath at all unless I screamed. Had to go on SSRI pills just to save the ears of my family and neighbours! So take it easy and go superslow. Think of your body as a very scared dog. You have to talk calm and pet it very softly so it starts trusting you before it begins wagging its tail.

@Fluidisometrics Жыл бұрын
What you are experiencing we call referred pain, where pain is felt in a site far removed from the spot that is being worked. This is great, it means the belly position is a cause site for problems in the shoulders. One should take note of these connections as they give us important information about our bodies and how to take care of them when a problem arises.

Why are you using something this hard? Fascia doesn’t benefit from hard tools.
@Fluidisometrics Жыл бұрын
Fascia responds well to the wooden tool because of the way it is taught to use with pressure over time with the breath. It is a gentle sinking into the tissue with little movement. The body loves it!
