FLY FISHING COLORADO | Float Fishing For Hungry WILD Brown Trout | Gunnison River

Fishing the legendary Gunnison River from a float raft is a special experience that has long been on my bucket list. So when the chance to get out on the water with my buddy Preston presented itself last Summer, I jumped at the opportunity. With gorgeous weather and clear skies, we hitched up the raft, loaded up our gear, and made our way down to the river for what would hopefully be an epic day.

Appreciate you subscribing! Learning to fly fish can be difficult at the start, but it's so worth the challenge. There's nothing quite like it; you will get hooked! (pun intended) Lots of great water to fish in California as well, I'm hoping to spend some time in the Eastern Sierra this summer.

Hi - My wife and I are looking for a two or three day float fly fishing for trout. Do you have any suggestions for fly fishing loges who offer multi-day float fly fishing with experienced guides. I fly fished when I was young but my wife will be brand new to fly fishing. We hope to stay in a lodge with meals provided. Do you know of any fly fishing lodges that offer couples fishing experiences? Thanks!

You’ll want to look into Black Canyon Anglers. They’ve got a lodge in the Gorge and offer multi-day trips
