Someday, I know I say someday but this looks awesome. Thanks for making me jealous.

Yet another great film. You're helping to keep me sane whilst we can't go out fishing. Could I make a request? The background music can be a little loud - noticeably louder than the narration - which means I'm forever pushing the volume up and down. Could you drop the level a touch, please? Hope you don't mind me asking. Thanks.

I lived in Chilean Patagonia many years of my life and then I started my trip. Now, it happens I’m in Fort Collins, CO. I definitely plan to go back there some day to finish my trip.

Great video! I would have liked a bit more of a sense about the geography though, where did you fly into? Which lake is the lodge on etc. Chilean Patagonia is pretty huge!
@newflyfisher4 жыл бұрын
We fly into Balmaceda which is not far from the Argentina border. It is about 1 hour or so drive to the lodge. However, we don't fish much on the lake, usually just the first day. Poncho drives us to different locations every day, one of the reasons why we like it there so much. One day float trip down a good sized river, like the Simpson, next day on a lake, day after we can be doing small stream fishing. Lots of variety. Tomorrow we are putting up Part Two which is focussed on the lake fishing we did for the trout. Cheers

Great fishing without a doubt. But no mention of the price. That's because if you need to ask, you can't afford it!

Kind of funny to see you in the middle of nowhere and there is a raft below you and at least two guys wading above you at 7:59 and 8:15. I'd of thought you would be almost alone on those rivers.

Matt, that is the Simpson River and where that shot was taken was not far from the town of Balemaceda, so locals will come down and swim. Interesting part is you never see the locals fishing for some reason

I love all the presentations on this channel but one thing I noticed is we didn’t hear much from the guide unlike other presentations.

agreed. for some reason we had a hard time getting pancho to speak on-camera. we hope to go back and perhaps next time he will be more willing to chat. he is an exceptional guide and person

What is the point of placing English subtitles on the screen, that obscure some of the picture, when the narration is in English?? That makes absolutely no sense.
@newflyfisher4 жыл бұрын
Matt, I think your closed-captioning must be turned on which can be turned off so you don't see the writing on screen.
