Definitely an item everyone should keep in their car, even new or fairly new cars. My wife's brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland had the factory 12v battery die within the first week of ownership. Died while the vehicle was parked in the garage. Couldn't have used old-style jumper cables if I wanted. A jump pack like this got it started, and got back to the dealer for a replacement 12v battery.

We will see how long this one lasts. Buying cheaper products sometimes bites me in the butt, But some of them surprise me and lithium batteries don't last forever anyway. My last jump box lasted 3 years (DBPOWER also from Amazon) the battery turned into a spicy pillow busting the case open.

Just got mine this morning for $39.99 US. As far as the DC 15 V outlet, most automobiles will output 14 V and some change when they are running, so it’s not that much of a difference. Shouldn’t hurt anything.

Thanks for this. How long will this booster stay on if you put it on boost on a battery and just leave it? I see other ones keep timing out and switching off, so the battery can not take on a charge to help, if there is a high cranking current needed.

I was looking at gettting one of these booster boxes for my Model Y. Can you get to the 12v battery in the Ioniq if the 12v battery is dead? Having a booster box inside the MY doesn't really help unless you do the battery inside the tow plug trick to get the frunk open. Thanks for the video.

Oh yeah you wouldn't be able to get your hood open... There's some jump starters that can boost the battery by plugging into the 12 volt cigarette socket those take longer like 5 to 10 minutes but I'm not sure that would work in a Tesla. Does the 12 volt power come directly from the DC/DC converter to the socket, or does it come through the battery 🤔 I would have to do some research.

I've had this for seven or eight months and it still shows 100%. So as long as you check on it once or twice a year, you should be good.

It charges in the USB-C slot. You can use any charger you already have.
