Matpat, there is something you should know. There are secret doors you have to find by zooming out the cameras to get an ending. You have to start looking early on. The concept is similar to FNAF 3 with the 'free the children's spirits' chair.

I think this is something MatPat really missed: while wearing the mask lets you AR-"disbelieve" certain illusions in the "real" world, it actually throws up its OWN walls in other places. The "path to evil" tunnel might have had branches or other exits, but we didn't see them because they were hidden behind the AR-tunnel. There were other parts too where you HAVE to take the mask off to progress, but I'm not sure they realised that's what happened. I think we need to find out what's behind all the AR-walls as WELL as the "real" ones!

In the begginig stage of the game, in one point you can see Monty's archade machine, but when pitting the mask on, it switches from Monty to Roxy...which turns out to be important, becouse Cassy has a connection to her. So I believe the mask is also influencing our psyche, not just showing "hidden" passages

​@@subwaytacomanthe map is VERY different (and they had to make 2 versions, although they could've copy and pasted the one and made alterations to the other so they'd function different) and all of the character models are new as well. Even the flashlight is new. The only things that were reused from the base game is animations for Roxy and Monty, the endos (but even then they got a new quirk to how they function) and some voicelines.

8:17 I work with architectural glass as an engineering intern. From my very limited experience, a lite of glass like that would normally be tempered and or laminated. Meaning the entire lite of glass would instantly shatter, similar to a Prince Rupert’s Drop, to the ground if any part of it were to break (tempered), or it would all shatter and be held in place similar to a car windshield (laminated). Having a “hole” in the glass is very odd, but it still makes for a very cool intro to the Ruin DLC. I hope that helps give a better understanding of the glass.

I think the Vanny mask just allows you to see and pass through what isn't actually there in the real world. It's those sound emitters that shape your whole perception of reality, the mask just helps you see through some of it to progress and go further into the trap. I'm kinda shocked Matpat didn't think of that at first, because that's a technology that would definitely be available to the amalgamation blob thing that has its wires everywhere

But the game gets confused and thinks you’ve already teleported so when you put the mask back on you teleport to the wrong map without it loading in causing you to fall through the world.
