I can see where Foekoe is going with this, but like with all games/things in life, practice makes perfect. I *somehow* have over 500 hours in this game and over 250 catalogued wins, and can safely say that I'm pretty good at it. Still, even with the variants to a lot of the rounds to mix it up a bit, it does get repetitive at times, I can see that. ESPECIALLY given that Season 6's rounds have no variants at the time of writing, but I don't let that stop me from having a ball. Like with ANY party-based game, you gotta have some nonsense in there to keep it interesting. Most of the Mario Party games are the kings of random nonsense, so it only makes sense for Fall Guys to have those kind of bad rounds. Oh and Fall Mountain is one of the best final rounds if you know how to tackle it and use Big Yeetus efficiently when it appears. 😛

I'm hoping that the release of Season 7 and Sw/Xb versions might incentivize them to fix the crappy parts of their game, but I honestly kinda doubt it.

based and true as someone who has over 850h in the game, i havent played properly in months. the game is just boring, S6 has been out since november and SS1 (next season) wont release till june. over half a year, with the only new content being 1 level that isnt even in the main rotation. MT is lazy, xbox and switch has been in the works since before release and still isnt out, even the sweats and pros are getting mad and quitting over the lack of literally anything, and we can only hope that all their effort is being put into the next season or the game will die for good

I'm actually having a lot of fun with it, I downloaded it 2 days ago and already level 22, I got the season pass... I didn't buy the game originally but it was $20 when it first came out and surprisingly they haven't had me play any of the bad maps you mentioned so it might be possible they lowered the chance of playing those worse maps... but anyway I I think the base season pass without any tier upgrades was 850 of the premium currency, but if you get all the tier rewards you get like 1100 of the premium currency so you basically get to play the next tier for free, with a 250 premium currency profit. You only get 300 premium currency if you don't buy the pass, in which case I guess you'd have to farm that for 3 seasons before you finally get a free one, but honestly the fact they give you so much premium currency makes me wanna go all the way get to tier 100 and see how much they give for the next season pass. That is not bad by any means, rewards you for playing.

I'd say most of the issues with the game involve how the dev team is splitting up all of their attention on console ports, issues with the game, and just how long Seasons take. Season 6 is looking to be 6 months long, and season 5 took 5 whole months to be over with. Once the Switch and Xbox ports are done, maybe MT will have the time and the people to make the game much more fun.

As someone who plays fall guys everyday the team games are pretty darn rare to get, the final is usually hex-a-gone and almost all the rounds from season 3 and up are really good! The difference between Crab Game and Fall Guys is that Dani is an individual person, while Delvolver and Mediatonic is a whole company. Dani can make his own decisions and is basically just independent, while Fall Guys has a whole team behind it. Who is trying to cater to millions of people and make decisions that they have to all agree on. Its a lot more difficult for the devs of Fall Guys simply because there are a lot of devs, unlike Crab Game which is made by only one person. I find this comparison to be somewhat valid, but fall short as Crab Game is completely different from Fall Guys besides the main core of the two games.

Even as a big ol' goofy ass Fall Guys fan, I can 100% agree with these points. Fall Guys rn is like the one kid in school who doesn't bother anyone but everyone fucking destroys him on a daily basis for no reason. Like they'll put out a tweet and about 6 lifeless sacks of flesh have already commented "dead game". Like wtf do y'all even DO all day besides that? I really hope the next season will bring in more players with it going F2P. That on top of the impending switch and xbox releases paints a slightly brighter picture for the future of this silly ass bean game. If I were in charge of the changes, here's what I'd do. I would trim out all the unneeded garbage and fix the tails, like you said in the video. But, I would also add something I don't see enough people suggesting. A LEVEL MAKER. Think of it like forge in Halo, a bunch of bits and pieces you can interlock to make your own level. Hell, maybe even have some obstacles that are ONLY in player-made courses for some variety. Then, instead of having these player levels mixed in with official ones, there'd be a separate Community Show that would randomly select minigames from the pile of submitted courses. Of course, there would have to be limitations so that people don't make nightmare impossible levels, but it could seriously add some longevity for the game with new levels being created every day.

Coming back here after the announcement of Free for All. Interested to see if the shift to a free to play game will make it more relevant. Crab Game must've had some influence with how accessible it is which gave it a lot of initial allure and just something to mess around with for 20 minutes.

I kinda hate how the internet works with trendy games, when a game is big enough some of the triple A fans come in and expect the world out of an indie game and when It doesn't deliver the studio gets bombarded with threats and "dead game". and then a lot of people who play it get pressured to stop even if they enjoyed it. They are like piranhas.

One of the problems with the waiting time is also that if your team loses in random squad show, you have to wait till the players get eliminated and for the next round to get chosen before being able to quit and get rewards

I have to agree. Everything just takes SO LONG to happen. Also the fact that there’s no practice mode or anything like that made experimenting new strategies on different courses was really frustrating

I see where are you going with this. I played in every season and now, in season 1 ffa Fall Guys is a blast to play. I'm having a lot of fun playing this game. New players might dislike this game for being to hard, I've got good at the game so I win a lot and I get satisfaction from playing it. So you may dislike the game because you are bad at it.
