Why post this at all if you're going to talk over it, and, worse, make dumb comments about Nate Mendel's family while he's saying a heartfelt thanks to them? Show some class.

Wow! You guys rock! Thank you Charles & Brittany for taking us along on the ride! I bet you had a blast! I guess they forgot to tell Paul that they were going to play 'Get Back' in a different key and tempo, so that it would be within Dave's vocal range...but that's ok Paul turned it around, with class and real talent, he single handedly maintained the integrity of both his and the Beatles legacy. Did anyone else notice the crash n burn hand gesture Paul gave to Dave @ 11:03?

Taylor Hawkins 02:04 "I'd like to see George Michael in the HOF someday".... right on, Sir! I mean, oh my word, the legendary history of George's writing and producing his massive pop & rock hits, and his legendary duets with Aretha, Elton and others make him so worthy. When you have LEGENDS say how great you were, like Elton, Stevie Wonder, and so many rock stars who adored George's music, you really are being disrespectful to him by not putting him in Rock & Roll HOF! RIP to both...

Tickets sold out in under 30 seconds and we had to get them through a third party app. The tickets for the next level down would have set us back over a grand! I blame the greedy assholes at ticket master, seat geek, etc.

Have you seen the video of Sebastian Bach going off during an interview and a joke was told about Rob Halford. Then, Rob Halford's response was PRICELESS. Love that man! And yes, it baffles me. Glenn Tipton, and KK Downing with Rob, just absolutely made that band!

@@Crosshatch1212 yes, there's lots of bands and musicians that should be in, but aren't. I've always figured Priest is continually excluded because of their song titled Electric Eye 👁 It probably hits too close to home for them.

No offence to the “Foo Fighters” but geez for them to be inducted into the rock n roll hall of fame already if ever is total b.s. in my opinion as well as an utter slap in the face to other bands that should have been inducted before the “Foo Fighters” years before & if not for a few of those bands Nirvana & the Foo Fighters wouldn’t even exist nor have all the fame & glory they enjoy to this very day. I’m quite sure all the members of the “Foo Fighters” grew up listening to a wide variety of music & to bands that came out long before them that haven’t even been inducted yet if ever & i’m not saying that every band the “Foo Fighters” grew up listening to are worthy of an induction but some of them most definitely are!! Dave Grohl whom i’m most familiar with & have seen a few interviews & has stated that bands such as Iron Maiden,Judas Priest,Voivod,Megadeth,Misfits,Motörhead Etc influenced him immensely & not one of those bands have been inducted into the rock n roll hall of fame yet if ever. Iron Maiden as an example hasn’t been inducted which is a big head scratcher imo. Maiden has been around since the 70’s & have sold millions of albums & played to thousands of people all over the globe & went to really obscure places that are very hard to get to by vehicles so what does Iron Maiden do? Bruce Dickinson starts the process of putting together a massive 747 Jet Plane for this huge World tour & going to places like i just mentioned that are very hard to get to & playing to fans who have dreamed of seeing Iron Maiden live but knew that the possibility of that happening was very slim but Bruce & Steve Harris & crew made the impossible possible :-) Anyways Cheers from Canada \m/

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is a numbers game. It essentially comes down to the votes of around 25 committee members. Since 2016, the members of the Nominating Committee includes chairman Jon Landau, journalist David Fricke, Steven Van Zandt, Ahmir "Questlove" Thompson, Tom Morello, Paul Shaffer, Robbie Robertson and several others.

Foo Fighters, a band of insignificant influence and mediocre music, gets in first year but still no MC5, New York Dolls, Black Flag, Alice In Chains, Judas Priest, Pantera, The Pixies, Janes Addiction, Rage Against the Machine.... it took decades for Black Sabbath to get in. So they don’t have much credibility. I don’t think the judges literally even understand what rock and roll is. I’ve heard it described poetically like it’s youth and rebellion and overcoming poverty blah blah blah no it’s a soundscape in which anything can be expressed including conformity and privilege (The Strokes and Vampire Weekend were not rebellious and wrote about rich kid angst). I have a feeling some boomers have a lot to do with it whom see rock and roll as an ideology and no comprehension of music. Like MC5, a band I don’t even particularly like, I even have to admit, as a band was untouchable on the live stage and probably the best to ever do it. And they aren’t even nominated. It’s like a basketball hall of fame without Michael jordan, Larry bird, and Kobe Bryant. Not only that but they allow some baseball players in because why not? At least recognize the twenty or so most influential bands many of them never getting their commercial just deserts or due recognition outside of critic circles and music communities, like show the layman how New York Dolls spawned both glam and punk, were ridiculously influential on every artist that saw them from David Bowie to Aerosmith, but not even that...
@actuallybibis2 жыл бұрын
please i get that you think this people should've been indicated to the hall of fame, but don't speak low of foo fighters they don't deserve, they are an amazing band with amazing people, and keep in mind that this award isn't just for rock and roll anymore, just look at jay z that got a award in this same day
@lennyverralis2 жыл бұрын
i thik the thing is people look at it like a trophy for music but i think its more an achnologement of hard work and audience gained! if you look at how many people the foos play too and most bands inducted it a hell of alot! but its just an award!
