Very useful video on the importance of recognizing/treating food intolerances/allergies. After I made my food intolerance test I discovered that I'm particularly sensitive to some most frequently eaten foods, so one thing that's important is to cycle as much as possible your proteins. Cut down sugars, gluten and dairy as much as you can - these are hard to metabolize anyway. Thanks and please keep the great work!🙏

Another excellent video from Dr. Jin, I didn't realise that flavonoids like lycopene dampen the immune response - perhaps this is why I like tomatoes so much 😄

Missing on your list of items that give people food allergies is the massive overuse of antibiotics. This was me--I got bombed with course after course of antibiotics for bladder infections, etc., and then ended up with leaky gut, food allergies and histamine issues. One of the things not on your list of helpful things is probiotics. I have read before (somewhere) that certain probiotics "teach" the dendritic cells that foods are not allergens. I don't have a cite for my statement, but I know I've read it. I think l. rhamnosus is one the probiotics that are helpful for food allergies, as recommended by my ND, but I am sure there are others that are helpful. I wish I could take enzymes--I can't--they really flare up my histamine problem so I stay far away from them. Oops--nevermind some of this--I see there is a part 2 now :-)

Hey there. Thanks for watching both videos. But you are correct, people can develop food intolerance after prolong antibiotic therapy, i.e. lyme, mrsa and recurrent sinus infection patients. Best, Dr. Jin

Do you have any information on brain injury, and how to deal with this I was on benzodiazepines for 12 years and that has caused a neurological damage to the vagus nerve. I am having a hard time eating any food and has been three years.

Did a Cyrex Array 10 test, and just received my results. I am allergic to almost everything. I also did a Cyrex Array 2 and oh boy, I have severe leaky gut, plus I now react to foods high in histamine. Also, I have severe candida. I need a good protocol to heal this, but I don’t which diet to follow, candida, histamine/oxalate? I don’t know where to begin.

why is it that eggs do this. I ate eggs all my life in moderation, now if I have more than one serving of eggs a week, I have an agony gut response. I have tried different types of eggs, organic, free range, cage free, etc. They ALL do this! My Dr. says this makes NO sense.
@DrJinSung3 жыл бұрын
That is typical of what patients say. "I ate this all my life and now I can't eat it" At one point you lost oral tolerance for one of the reason listed above. Over use of antibiotics also contributes this phenomenon.

I too developed an allergy to eggs. I got H.Pylori and I didn't know it for a few years. Slowly my gut health became worse and worse and I developed other food allergies (dairy) as well. Now I have a SIBO issue. For the SIBO, I've been looking into the elemental diet which is expensive, horrible tasting, and you have to go through a doctor or some other professional to get the elemental diet powder. Me, I'm going either just fast for 3 weeks or try a natural elemental diet eating something easy to digest such as salmon and see what happens.

Gut issues are just too complex, there is NO, one size treatment to suit all or most. Many, many people with gut dysfunction have negative reactions to your suggestions, its that complex an issue.
