An amazing public speaker to deliver an equally amazing message. Dr. Greger defines “evidence based” passion for plant based healing and prevention.

I wish I knew this when my mom was suffering with her cancer. This was an amazing presentation. I'm fact checking everything and I just can't seem to contradict Dr. Greger. His use of comedic hyperbole I think may confuse his critics but I find it hilarious and refreshing. :-)

The story about his grandmother is absolute Earth shattering. 65 is so young. My mum is a 65 year old vegan with the size 4 (US) body of a college girl who works out is active has long blonde hair to her waist and a booty I would die for. Admittedly she got some great genetics to start with and has been beautiful and interested in nutrition all her life. She's not perfect nobody is, but there's 65 ... And then there's 65 .....+ 70 + 85 + 96 like dr. Gregor's grandmother. It's all how you live take care of yourself and others and balance everything as best as you can. Just because you get older doesn't mean you have to become infirm in any way period. Just imagine no nursing homes!!! Just imagine Not EVER having to go there to visit your parents or your grandparents or your aunt or your uncle or your own siblings. LOL, damn those hippies ! No surprise they would be the first Generations to start rejecting what aging has traditionally always meant ~ and showing us how to do it!!

Why does Dr. Greger have to repeat all again and again? He has so many clips online already!
@australorpa7 жыл бұрын
Other people and other groups post them as they attend or host his talks. If you go to nutritionfacts.org, you can see the l.o.n.g list of his speaking engagements, most of which are repeats; think how tired he must be of repeating essentially the same talk time and time again, especially with travel weariness if not jet lag!

If only it worked for BPH.
@NoExitLoveNow7 жыл бұрын
It can help. From the Nutrition Facts website: The 2005 Ornish study indicated that the plant-based diet may be beneficial for reducing and reversing the occurrence of prostate cancer. Some specific foods that may be effective include flaxseed, cranberries, turmeric, and almond milk. The occurrence of prostate cancer may also decrease if the following items are restricted in the diet: the amino acid methionine, choline and cows’ milk. Benign prostatic hypertrophy and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) may be less of a natural consequence of aging, and more indicative of eating an unhealthy diet and not exercising enough. The same kinds of healthy lifestyle interventions that have been shown to be effective at reducing the occurrence of prostate cancer are also helpful in keeping BPH in check.
