Really good information. I always thought I was a healthy eater but after watching your videos, I further cut back on sugar, eat a lot more fiber rich foods and take a probiotic. After a couple of weeks, my stomach is finally flattening again and I feel less stiff. I’m 61 and feel better than ever. Thanks!

I agree with MANY MANY things you say but Lectins in night shades and other foods are VERY inflammatory for some. The minute I got off of tomatoes and high lectin and oxalate foods my RA went away!!

@@les9058 I don’t do gluten, dairy or lectins & oxilates, but within 24 hours of getting rid of tomatoes RA improved drastically. I was eating pico de gallo quiet a bit and my hand was in so much pain I couldn’t write. Stopped eating it and healed quickly.

Hi! I was born just outside Houston, in Pasadena, and after many years away, have returned home to Texas. One of my absolute favorite fruits is figs. I'll do an arugula salad with figs, prosciutto, and goat cheese and just lemon and evoo dressing or figs drizzled with honey or dark chocolate. I also really love strawberries and blackberries. We used to pick blackberries by the bushel every summer.

Great informatiob! It's good to have a foundation from which to start experimenting with what works and what doesn't. We have such different genetics around the world. I can't do any nightshades, for example, including potatoes. I have RA, and my joint pain is directly related to my digestion. I can't eat many of the things listed as anti-inflammatory as they irritate my intestinal lining. Like coffee, nightshades, dairy. Apple cider vinegar however is ok for me in small amounts, it helps my metabolism and joints. I put a teaspoon in a glass of water with geiund ginger and stevia, it's yummy.

Grateful I came across your videos! I was thinking my weight gain was because of my anti-depressant meds because they are known for weight gain so I cut back. I was also taking Emgality for migraines which has a side effect of weight gain as well. It worked miracles on my headaches but I seemed to gain more weight. I was always the skinny person growing up and even all the way into my mid forties then it just happened. I never put two and two together about my weight gain being because of menopause. I’m following your advice and I am going to purchase your program this weekend so I’m more excited!! I’m also seeing a doctor for HRT next week. I’m ready to wear anything but black pants again!

hi there. i love your content. i'm a huge proponent of maintaining a diet focused on low inflammation. I was wondering what your thoughts are on stevia and monkfruit. in the beginning you talked about added sugars and that the body treats all of them the same way...but later you excluded them from the list when talking about artificial sugars. I get that they're not artificial, but they would still be an added sugar. So are they a yes or no?

Making veggie burgers yourself from whole plant foods definitely wins, hands down, when comparing cholesterol, saturated fat, sodium, and fiber. Store bought veggie burgers still win in terms of cholesterol and fiber. Saturated fat is often equivalent, but sodium is often higher.
