Thank you for this. Our food is so toxic these days with unnatural ingredients like preservatives, hormones, GMOs, sugars, etc., I react to all these things. Plus it is way too expensive to go to the store. We need more naturally grown garden vegetables, orchards and free range animal farms.

Cancer was only 3 out of 100 in 1900. now it's over 1 in 3. Cancer was well described in mid 1800's so it wasn't that it wasn't diagnosed in 1900. They knew it when it presented. In fact Dr. Otto Warburg explained it as a mitochondrial issue in the 1920's. Cancer rate itself is increasing and our genetics hasn't changed much in last few hundred years. It takes millennia.

I think I have a problem. I have an ileostomy that flares up everytime I eat rough age or fiber. That is basically all fruits and veggies. I love them and miss them. I always liked bananas , but getting pretty tired of them now. All the other foods that are bad for our condition effect me too. I never eat nuts or seeds as I have had 2 blockages. Has anyone else gone thru that specific type of agony? I can eat the metamucil coor time and that sometimes helps mnk dunno why. Cause it has fiber...Spain that to me Lucy????

Great video. Why are people saying there's nothing left to eat? Lots of fruits and veg. Brown rice, quinoa, grains, make your own bread (rye flour, spelt flour) etc. Drink Almond milk, rice, coconut milk (others out there) . Make sea moss (very easy). Drink water (add lemon or oranges)! Make oat, cornmeal, green banana or plantain porridges... We need to get back to basics. Honestly guys its not so difficult I have young children and they eat most things. @@katnisscoverdeen5828 lol just stop 😂 1. There’s never been a study that definitively proves red meat is bad for you, so I KNOW you’re full of shit. 2. Red meat is one of the most nutritiously dense foods in the world. You’d be doing yourself a disservice by eliminating it. 3. It’s the most hypoallergenic food there is. Virtually every single person in the world can eat meat. That tells you unequivocally that it’s meant to be in the human diet. If everyone’s bodies can process it with no issues, that tells me we’ve evolved with meat. You can’t say the same about grains, legumes and other stuff. There will always be people with issues to those things, but Never meat. Although, prioritize grass fed meats.

I like fruits and veggies, but I am allergic to so many, most people address nutrition on KZbin to go for mostly fruit & veggies, I would die of hunger. I have had migraines all my life, so I’m aware of additives like msg, trans whatever. I check my PH almost daily. I cook and never eat soups or other can foods. Please keep in mind this is what I do for me. As careful as I try to be I still, at times, get flare ups on my skin. So it would be nice if you can gives the 10 item, but also keep in minds what to do if one is not able to eat most fruit & veggies. I like your overall presentation but it’s incomplete. Thanks for helping

I was glancing through this video and some of the foods you mentioned do have a negative impact on me, especially when it came to my gastrological problems. For years, I had to go to different gastroenterologists over the past two years because of my struggles with nausea and gas, especially located on the left side of my abdomen. When I have a discomfort on my left side of the abdomen, that is when the gas is stuck there, and could sometimes trigger nausea as well as acid reflux over the next few days. I believe that over the course of my life, I have eaten foods that contains gluten such as pizza. I also love to eat snacks like cakes and muffins and yogurts after dinner(around 8-9pm-ish), but I have since avoided any snacks during the late evening and confined them to mornings.. Today, I still get abdominal discomforts as well as light nausea, but not as intense as it was when I had them two years ago. Also, my mom has Type-2 diabetes and she can't eat some of the foods because it could make her glucose levels increase. Anyways, I do appreciate your informative information that will influence our decisions to staying healthy.

You have the best eyes on the internet! Thank you for this educational video. My psoriasis gets angry when I eat dairy and whole wheat. My dermatologist says to avoid gluten. My psoriatic arthritis flares when I eat popcorn! I bloat easily so watch my sodium. America seems to be obsessed with salt! One of the worst salty offenders is mashed potatoes in restaurants.

Excellent video, Lacey! I'd only suggest you merge your guidelines with the ketogenic diet. Type-2 diabetes and fatty liver disease are epidemics driven by the over-consumption of starch, sugar, and grain generally. As you suggest, sugary (starchy) foods should be rejected. But, 'sugary foods' includes starchy grains, wheat, corn, rice, potatoes, and everything else that appears near the top of your glycemic index chart...including the so-called 'whole-grains' and some fruits. There are no healthful breakfast cereals. And, while it's hard for some to believe, the ketogenic foods (bacon, butter, beef, cheese, cold cuts, avocado, olive oil, avocado oil, etc) provide good nutrition while avoiding those insulin spikes caused by starchy meals and snacks multiple times per day. It's the constant insulin spiking that is the signal to form triglycerides and force them into fat cells in the liver and the throughout rest of the body. Fats don't make us fat and inflamed. Starch (carbs) (sugars) make us fat and inflamed. Go keto. Lose 5 pounds a month and reverse fatty liver disease.

Where I live in Queens there is a bread available called "647" by Schmidt's. It's 6 gm net carbs, 40 calories and 7 gm of fiber per slice. Hence the name 647. It's engineered to be low carb, low sodium low sugar, and high fiber. I go to the bathroom every morning because of the fiber content in this bread. It tastes good too.

Thank you so much for having this channel and educating the public about the what is really in most of the food. If folks were really are aware of what corporation use to bring down the cost and increase profit is crazy. Pretty much we are eating and drinking chemicals that were manipulated in the lab. Also, if people are aware of the GMOs are in the food products, people will be shocked. Hopefully we all will move to an organic way of shopping and eating.
