never get acne or breakouts but am watching for healthy eating, as I’m big into health and nutrition:) I love Kimchi and using Miso in everything. I don’t eat dairy or carbs, so I have a lot more protein like tofu, eggs, chicken, chia seeds, soya milk and soya yogurt without sugar etc.

As a woman from a country that’s known for it’s variety of breads (Germany) the ‘whole grain toast‘ kinda offends me 😂 This has nothing to do with whole grain, there are just some grains sprinkled in the dough to make it look healthy plus some malt for a darker color 😅 Please look up real whole grain bread, it’s soooo yummy, way healthier and keeps you full for a very much longer time ❤️ (Sorry for eventual mistakes, I’m not a native speaker).

as a daughter of a cook I nearly screamed at my display when I saw you washing your chicken - my father always told us: never wash chicken, the running and splashing water can spread bacteria around sinks, countertops etc. Simply pad it dry so it's not so slimey and then cook it through thoroughly -> much safer! Love from Austria ♥
@littlebluedolphin2 жыл бұрын
So you think people who wash chicken or seafood in the kitchen sink, don't 1) do it carefully to prevent splashing 2) clean the sink or counter top after? Now your father most likely is either plain old lazy to wash the chicken while ensuring it's done properly and to clean the sinks and counter top thereafter, or have no idea how to wash chicken properly, or being a professional cook doesn't have the time or resources to clean the sink and counter tops in between preparing chicken for several orders. Now don't compare that to a home cook cooking a meal for oneself or a family, not some multiple order eatery. There are ways to wash the chicken properly AND keep the preparation SAFE, while ensuring to clean the sink and counter tops thereafter.

Hi Fel, I'm from a little town so we don't have an Asian market here but i want to recreate your super tasty mushroom soup. Can I use soy sauce instead of tsuyu?
@BeautyWithin2 жыл бұрын
Heyy Anna! You can see this recipe for creating Tsuyu at home (which involves soy sauce, mirin, cooking sake, dried kelp, and dried bonito flakes): www.justonecookbook.com/mentsuyu-noodle-soup-base/ I would say that just using soy sauce as the soup base would only make your dish salty so it'll be good to have extra ingredients to bring out the savory flavor. If you can't find all the ingredients, you can try a mixture of soy sauce, dashi powder, and a very small amount of sugar (to replace the mirin - although mirin is highly recommended!). Hope this helps!

Tofu is actually a better source of protein than eggs or chicken flesh. It's honestly a bit painful the way that people only see animal products as "protein" -- but that shows how the animal abuse industries' marketing and propaganda are sadly winning.

Too much soy can also cause a hormone imbalance, especially in women. But tofu is definitely underrated! It can be delicious and even incorporating a few meatless dishes can have an impact

it is hard to watch it without saying that eggs are the perfect food for pathogens and bugs, so while we eat them it will result in the opposite effect of having clean skin.
