I'll tell you why because the government is crooked and they don't care who pays for their mistakes. I was charged taxes on a vehicle in a city I had never even visited even though I paid my taxes on time in the city I lived. 4 years in a row they continued to garnish me hundreds of dollars until the last time I had my city send over another fax with my address and my paid tax receipt for the vehicle until I threatened to contact a lawyer. So what did they do, they waited 7 years after that and even though they charged me 4 year worth of taxes on a vehicle that I only had for 6 months in the middle of a year at that they garnish my wages again for taxes on the 5th year plus huge interest rates. When I called them I asked to speak to their supervisor which I had done before and this lady the supervisor told me after I told her I paid my taxes on the vehicle in my city and I only had the vehicle for years and they already got me for hundreds and hundreds of dollars for it she told me and I quote "I don't care if you owe them or not, it's been 7 years and the statute of limitations has expired and theirs nothing you can do and we are taking your money" which they did. I asked why I haven't heard anything about this over the last 7 years and they said that's not their problem even though my address hadn't changed, I wasn't off the grid. This city waited on purpose 7 years so I couldn't fight these charges and I even communicated with them over the next few years after they stopped trying to get my money back. They never told me they were continuing to tax me and only told me that the department of taxation for that city would absolutely not refund me. At the time I thought it would cost me more in lawyer fees and thought it was over so I just let it go. If I had known that they intended to pull that crap I would had gotten a lawyer which is another reason they waited so long.

I used to live in Alameda County California and I too had my wages garnished for child support. $150 plus per week. That payment was supposed to go towards the care of my twin daughters. However a 3rd child was added and he wasn't mine. So after paying over and over I tried something. I opened a CIVIL lawsuit against Child Support and my ex. When I went to the clerk's office to get the papers needed for filing they didn't know what to give me because such an action had never been done. It took a supervisor to tell the clerk to give me the paperwork for a normal civil lawsuit. When I had Child Support served I was told that the receptionist said, " Well I NEVER seen such a thing. WE sue for child support! Not the other way around!!" She was told "Well you got served today. He'll see you in court"!! I was the FIRST one in the entire State of California to do it and now civil suits are allowed. They had me owing money, $30k in a city that I never lived in and the judge actually called a recess to personally make the call to the child support division who had the case file. He came back in and told the representative that I never lived in that city and that I was not the guy that should have been served. He asked why such a huge mistake and that idiot of a rep said "Well your honor, the name is the same so we figured that it was him". Ain't that a bitch?!! If I lived back east or down south I would have been in jail for something that I didn't even do! By the way, the boy that supposedly was mine? DNA proved a 73% chance of me and the kid being father and son. So I spoke up and informed the court that the kid wasn't my son but was my half brother because the dirty ho that I was with had an affair with my Dad. How's that for a Jerry Springer moment?? Hell I didn't know that black women did such things but I know now! The case took 3 years to end and I made every appearance because had I missed even one my claim would have been tossed out. And I wasn't having that. A short while after that the case was closed. See, child support agencies operate dirty and they lie like a bitch! They will try to collect on closed cases and try to intimidate you by sending their official looking letters. See they WANT you to run and hide. Not me. I charged them like a bull and challenged their system and I won. My next move is to try and get legislative measures passed that would make it a FELONY for a female to accuse you of being a father knowing full well that you're not. All for getting a support check. These days I earn my living by helping guys get fair treatment in court because you know how lying females do...the tears, the drama. Those days are fast coming to an end. I think a DNA test should be done before a father sign the birth certificate. My husband is paying child support for a child that's not his. He took it to court and the judge told him, as long as you signed the birth certificate this child is yours. He's taking it back to court with a family lawyer and we'll see from there.

The suit should be against the mother she was the one sleeping around and she used the money. I don't care what anyone says, women use child support as income. The courts need to monitor the use of the money to make sure it goes to the children. Attorney General uses our tax dollars for enforcement so why not it's use. AG needs to make sure that women have a job because they need to provide the other half of the support. You get me? See, women can sit and collect child support, if the man don't pay the money he owes accumulates as debt after so much past due he goes to jail. While in the meantime the woman sits back and waits for it. All she has to do is keep the courts updated with information about the father. She is not required to have a job. Where is the child support suit against her? Allot of women talk bad about the dad not paying to the children. The father is the reason they don't have needs met. The children grow up angry. The mother on the other hand is praise for being a single mom and "raising the children right". The dad is considered a bad parent.
