In the US it will cost at least $ 8,000 a month for this level of care. In the Philippines, if you organize it properly. Someone caring for you 24/7 in your $600 month house will cost $ 20 a day who will provide good care . This is if you have no girlfriend so in the Philippines you can have people in your house assisting you without ending up broke. In the country, it will be even less to have a live in full time maid-caregiver.

Why? If you die in the Philippines or in the USA or wherever? That’s the choice of the person dying! Stop telling other people what to do! It’s none of your business. If you want to help someone? Then help them. If you don’t want to help them? Then don’t. It’s as simple as that. To each their own. I pray for everyone that they accept Jesus Christ before they die! Sooner the better before it’s too late. Or die without Christ and go to hell! Your choice! Amen 🙏🏻

Jesus Christ holds our future future if we choose to be with Him. To me it's very simple, when I decided to moved to the Philippines I completely surrendered my future to be according to HIS Will. As the bible says in the book of Philipians 1:21; "To life is for Christ and to die is a gain". If we put our 100% FAITH in Jesus Christ and step up, than you won't worry because He will provide all our needs and NOT what we want. If we moved to the Philippines with our own plans than we will have all kind of thoughts running in our mind which will ruin our life not only in the Philippines but anyway in the world. When I left Australia I gave up everything and decided that province of the Philippines is my my future so whatever happens I will live a simple and contented life and serve Jesus Christ for the rest of my life. So I don't worry anything. Many guys commenting, WHEN ....WHEN ...WHEN this happen.....what when that happens. Foreigners, especially retirees, should not live in fear because the stakes are higher but must apply cumulative knowledge towards their safety and all. I have known an American in Manila lying in a morgue for over a year because no one claimed him. Finally, the embassy found his sister, and she repatriated him back home. I know someone personally who crossed the street and then got hit by a motorcycle and died. Imagine, he had successfully crossed already. The motorcycle drove on the sidewalk. I know an American who died there but no family members know where he was buried. An American hero of 2 wars. How FU is that. GIRL FRIEND? IT'S GOT TO BE MARRIAGE OR FORGET IT. BETTER TO JUST HAVE SOME MALE FRIENDS. SOME AGE DIFFERENCE IS FINE, MAX PROBABLY 20 YEARS DIFFERENCE, BUT MORE, NOT WISE. YES, THESE DAYS MARRIAGE IS RISKY, BUT IF BOTH ARE COMMITTED, AND I MEAN COMMITTED CHRISTIANS, THAT WOULD BE THE BASIS FOR MARRIAGE. I PRAY FOR THE GUY. HE MUST SEE TO HIMSELF, HIS HEALTH. CERTAINLY DEVELOP SOME FRIENDS, BUT MALE FRIENDS.THINK ABOUT IT. - IF YOU EXPECT FROM A WOMAN TO BE A REAL WIFE, YOU ARE ASKING A LOT. YES, THERE ARE WOMEN WHO WILL GIVE A LOT COMMITTED AS WIVES, BUT THIS IS WHERE YOU MUST BE DISCERNING. WHO REALLY IS SHE? DON'T BE FOOLISH AND FALL FOR JUST A PRETTY FACE. WHEN WE GUYS ARE ABOUT 55 OR 60 AND OLDER WE HAVE THE RESPONSIBILITY TO BE WISE AND PASS THAT WISDOM TO OTHERS. IT MAY EVEN BE BEST IF AT SUCH AN AGE WE STAY SINGLE AND TAKE THE LOVE WE WANT TO CONCENTRATE TO ONE WOMAN, RESOLVE NOT TO GIVE IT TO ONE WOMAN, BUT LOVE PEOPLE. THERE ARE SO MANY PEOPLE TO HELP, WHO NEED ADVICE, WHO NEED REAL FRIENDSHIP, AND THIS CAN BE YOUR CALLING FOR THE REST OF YOUR/HIS LIFE. I hope and pray this man can resolve his problems, and that he sees this writing, and determines to follow this advice.

Rationalizing bs. It's foolish at best, dangerous at worst to be chasing your youth on the other side of the world. It's pure hell taking care of a sick person in a first world country with greater technology and resources. In a third world country its the definition of true love or hell itself. It's delusional and rather selfish to think someone half or more than half your age would want to give you half their life caring for some irresponsible old codger.

Because money is God here, most will do anything to acquire it. Best a foreigner can do is rent a small place, never build, close to the water, enjoy it, have a cat or a dog, both are far more loving than most humans. Take up a nice hobby, maybe something you can sell or grow high value crop, re red, yellow, green peppers, if you have the space. Other than that, you are looked at to be nothing more than a wallet on legs, sad reality.

Took an advantage to use your Dollar power as a bait to hook up a young Woman, knowing you are 70-75 Dude then suddenly you got sick in the middle of a foreign Country …..review why you are there in that Country ? You must have a back up Plan, this is risky especially you are just relying on marginal to average Pension. Somehow, I heard there are Assisted Living Facilities in Manila if you are lucky to find a Professional Social Worker to assess such Services….Also what is your Immigration Status in that Country . Worst maybe return to your Home Country

Tell me , Tell Me, TELL ME ! What does a 55 year old man have in common with a 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24,or 25 year old woman ? NOTHING ! Except SEX ! Let alone a 60, 65, 70, or 75 year old man... I know. Five different Filipinas. 18, 23, 27, 33 and 37 My wife after five year is 43 and im 65 The Sex with these young woman was wonderful, until I met my wife none of these young woman ever loved me. How do i know ? 3 out of the four lied and cheated on me, the fourth I broke up with her before she got the chance to cheat on me.

@@AForeignerinthePhilippines you can't admit your not the exception or the rule. Be rude. You know it and I know it. That's the truth. Whether you want to be cute with a smart ass comment. You have a 50 plus age gap you had nothing in common with a 23 year old woman with a kid at 70 plus something.
