What I found most remarkable about this story was the detective's saavy to investigate car rental agencies in the first place due to the unique, or at least unusual color of the car seen as the abduction vehicle. They didn't really explain how he made that leap in reasoning, but if you think about it, THAT one tactic really turned the case. A good deal of forensic methods ultimately sealed the deal, but it was that one (good old fashioned) gumshoe detective work/insight that led to All the other evidence. Good work!

Not sure about how divorces work if one of the parties is not willing or if Sharri even wanted to separate from her husband. But if the husband wanted out of the marriage, why not just divorce?
