Very nice work, though I am curious to see how you made that last curl, what with two others being in the way. Looks a bit tricky.

You sure do nice work. That's trickier to do than it is to watch, that's for sure.

To make the metal bend at the angle while scrolling, do you just draw out the longer side so the short side rises up? (Not sure if I can find the right words, but talking about how they get the added depth, the slight 1/4 turn while scrolling without actually turning it.)

I think that one of the biggest challenges i have when blacksmithing anything is that i try to rush through the process to get to the end result do you have any advice that i may use to help me brake this habit so as i can improve my work

A novice question, why do they keep wire brushing the scale from the metal?
@workingwithiron3 жыл бұрын
Keeps the work clean from indentation. The scale that he is brushing off is harder than the hot metal so will act as a stamp when hit. Like trying to roll a pizza dough out but you have a dirty surface, it will get ingrained into the product.

@@workingwithiron Very nice explanation there Nathan.

What happened? I was looking forward to seeing how you were going to do the fourth leaf, (surely the most difficult one) when suddenly it was all done! That's a pity. In my opinion it spoiled an otherwise excellent video.

You have a very nice robot, but I would still like to see something for you. You have a bad attitude at the anvil. You should stand against the nose of the anvils so that the left foot goes forward and the right back depends on whether you are right-handed or right-handed, and you should place the material so that when you hit it with a hammer, the hammer made of materials will make you 90 degrees. And you stretch the material in length on the nose of the anvil or on its edge not on the surface on the surface of the anvil you should level the material. Don't be a jerk, I just want to advise you. This attitude will definitely make the robot easier for you. Good luck.
